This is a really cute coffee shop. I haven't been to too many in town, but this is probably my second favorite so far. It's a great option that's not a chain place. Might add another star with another visit, still deciding how much I like it. Unfortunately, my last visit was running in and out, so I didn't get to get a great feel for the atmosphere.

Coffee was hot enough it melted the lid and left my hand red, Gotta change that before you end up with another McDonalds accident. Iced Chai tea is great tho, Still very pricey compared to when it opened

My wife and I had a great Valentine’s date here! Definitely one of our favorite coffee shops in Columbia with fantastic coffee and great attention to detail!

Good coffee, roasted in house. Nice ambiance. Parking is a problem.

No parking, no seating, PAPER STRAWS.
Parking is such an issue every business around this place has had to post “Parking only for customers of…” signs.
The shop itself is nice, if you can find a place to sit. If, like me, you find yourself with no where to sit, you can always walk across the street and sit in the nice Wendy’s. It’s a lot more quiet at Wendy’s too. Just make sure to buy something there.
Paper straws…
They use paper straws here. If you aren’t familiar with the “taste of virtue”, paper straws taint the taste of the beverage with the taste of cardboard and they fall apart.
Even if you run across the street and change the straw out, the damage has been done and the beverage still tastes gross from the straw.
Please at least give the customer the option on if they want to join the virtue signaling culture or not. Personally, when paying a premium for my beverage, I’d like the option of not.
I probably won’t choose this spot again.
All this being said, the employees are always friendly and the place seems to be family friendly with options for kids to be entertained.
I’d consider returning if they figure out the parking issues and ditch paper straws (or at least put out options).

Toasty Goat is a great place to come for a warm or cold drink! It has such a cute little play area for kids and the workers and owners are so kind! Go check out their new location.

Just picked up a batch brew, hot mocha, and two cookies, and they are so good. The place looks incredible and the service was fast and friendly!

THE most pleasant, delicious, personable, friendly and caring coffeeshop in town. Hands down. The food is homemade yum, the syrups are in-house from scratch, the atmosphere is lovely for all ages w/ gorgeous green plants and even beautifully chosen lighting everywhere, and the people make you feel like family -- what family should be -- from the moment you enter. It's the epitomy of "peace" in my opinion, and where I take any friend who needs a good chat with a great cup of java! They are beautiful. (And so are their sweet kiddos) 💕

Beautiful place, very spacious, good layout. Many large tables to spread out if you are working. Long bar towards the back. I had an Americano and it was perfect. Parking can be a bit tight as they share a lot with Arena Liquors. It was quite busy on the Saturday morning I was there.

I was in town for a few days, and I came here THREE times. So obviously, it must have been good! It's a young coffee shop, but full of potential. They're open about the fact they're experimenting and finding their place, and I loved everything I ordered. I tried their "natte" drinks, basically latte with coffee instead of espresso, and it really worked well. Homemade syrups they should be proud of. Can't wait to come back to town and see this place grow. Owners are pure joy to talk to and they obviously do it because they love it, and I love THAT. If you love coffee, this is a brilliant place to try, especially for pour overs or Japanese iced coffee (just an iced pour over basically). They also have incredible prices and quality of their own in-house roasted beans. If I was local, I'd buy all beans from them! And their logo? Adorable.
