The Grind Coffee House - Forum

I do a lot of work at this coffee shop and part of me wants to keep it secret but the owner is one of the friendliest people I know. The staff works really hard and is usually on top of everything which is more than I can say for a lot of other coffee shops I’ve been visiting here in Columbia over the last eight years.

We love the location and the vanilla chai latte is always great, but routinely I order a black coffee with cream and sugar and it tastes strongly of hazelnut flavoring, which completely ruins the coffee for myself and my partner. This has happened at least 3 times over the past 2 months and it is really affecting my decision to keep getting coffee there, even though it is very convenient.

So I love this coffee soooo much, my only complaint is that they are kind of slow, so I may have to go somewhere else on work days because they just don’t move as fast as other coffee places I’ve been to. But the coffee is definitely the best in town in my opinion.

There was only 4 cars in front of me and I waited in line from 9:52 and it’s now 10:14 and I still haven’t gotten my two lattes I ordered. Just too king to wait for two iced coffees

I love driving thru here on the weekends! The coffee is good, they have a good section of syrups, they have plenty of dairy alternatives, and lots of options! Service is always quick and super friendly, definitely recommend!

We got there at 9:45 went inside and ordered food by about 9:50

The drive through lane gets preference on orders. The line for cars was about 4 long when we went inside. I’d say 12 cars went through the drive through before we got our order of 2 drinks and 2 sandwiches. We finally got our orders at 10:28 mind you we were behind 2 people in the store. The fact that drive through was getting 4 orders per one done inside was pretty ridiculous. Also they were out of bacon and didn’t tell us until after our order and gave my wife the wrong drink... not a good experience this morning.

One of my favorite places to get coffee in como!! They have a drive through and have a ton of different syrups and milk alternatives! They also use crushed ice in their iced drinks which is so satisfying :)

The Grind is an awesome place to get coffee! The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very clean and conducive to meeting, studying, or relaxing. The prices are fair and the coffee is amazing. I wish I could rate 6 stars!

Really good coffee drinks, they have both inside and outside seating. There is also a drive-thru.

For these hot summer days, they have a delicious selection of Grinders (Frappes/ Blended Ice Drinks) and they even have vegan whip cream!
