Coffee Zone

No frills great coffee joint with an extensive Mediterranean food menu. Surprisingly good gyros and hummus if you want to enjoy a good espresso over lunch.

I'm hooked. Being a foodie, I couldn't believe the treats they had in terms of food and deserts... this place rocks. The Hummus is the best I've ever had.... I'm not crazy about falafal but I do actually like theirs... I couldn't believe it and I never would have tried it if the owner hadn't twisted my arm almost literally! Such good food. Oh, and of course it is the BEST COFFEE in Columbia!

Had a falafel sandwich and was pleasantly surprised with the presentation and flavor. The owner is very kind and will make your acquaintance if you try. Good coffee as well, definitely give it a try

I ordered the Deluxe Hummus Plate. It was awesome. Their hummus is extremely tasty and the tomatoes it comes with are perfectly fresh. The lamb is tender and delicious. I also ordered a chai mocha. That was made quickly and very well. My friend ordered a gyro and their Turkish coffee. Both were amazing. Will definitely be going back.

I moved to St. Louis several years ago, and there's *still* no coffee shop that has my heart quite like Coffee Zone. Open late, great music, sidewalk seating, incredible coffee and food... you guys are the best!
(And I don't understand the folks who say the guys behind the counter are rude -- I went there 3-4 times a week for 5 years and literally never, ever experienced anything but kindness and gratitude...)

Service was fair; I had the gyro wrap plate and there was a pile of lettuce compared to meat. Unable to pickup the wrap and actually eat it. They also charged for ice tea refill. Bathrooms were dirty and smelled terrible. You need to try Oasis Cafe as he has the best hummus.

Very good food from the Mediterranean priced around $9. Really good coffee, just wish they had free refills when you order food at sit down. A great place to get Turkish coffee as well.

Stopped in for a Gyro, having been to Athens and had authentic im a big critic, and Coffee Zone brought it. Juicy meat, super tender, and a great titzeki sauce, iv always said, it could have the best meat in town but a bad sause is a bad Gyro.
Food aside Coffee Zone had a clean and relaxed atmosphere, with friendly staff.

I didn't partake in any coffee or dessert. Reserving my 5th star for when I do, and looking forward to it.

DRIVING WHEEL LOVES COFFEE ZONE!! Issam and Nadir are awesome, my favorite hot drinks are the Rocket Fuel, Dirty Chai, White Chocolate Mousse, and White Chocolate Mocha. My favorite cold drinks are the Vietnamese, Force of Vietnamese and Future of Coffee. Non-menu item 'Steve's Special' is a super sweet cold treat. The food is amazing, try the Gyro Deluxe, either with hummus or tzatziki. I prefer hummus, but the tzatziki is also awesome. Best coffee shop in the world? Maybe so...

Very good coffee drinks and nice selection of snacks. Interior is really cool with the lanterns, old pictures from the Middle East, and other neat things. Seating is sometimes cramped, but there are also seats outside sometimes. Staff was energetic and very nice when I went there.
