Colleen’s is the best!! The southwest skillet is my favorite breakfast dish! The salads are amazing and their homemade pastries and coffee syrups are by far the best in the city. If you love small businesses with homemade delicious fare, like I do, Colleen’s is for you!

Fantastic little cafe to get quick, good breakfast/brunch dishes in the Clayton area.

I travel to STL for work and whenever I do, I stop at Colleen's. I've ordered large breakfast orders for clients from Colleen's and of course, always reserve something for myself. The sweet potato and spinach breakfast burrito is next level and the scones are delicious too. I live in Denver and there are a number of options there, but I still find myself wishing we had a Colleen's in Denver too!

I ordered through postmates. What a great choice! I ordered the breakfast burrito with the birria and I was so happy it came with consome (this should be added in the description with the birria beef choice so we know, I was looking for a place to add it). It was delicious and surprising! For my daughters I chose a chocolate croissant and a strawberry scone with lemon glaze. They both shared each and loved them. I added a side of bacon and a side of eggs for them which were good too. Thank you for a great breakfast!

The food here is spot on, not greasy at all. It’s light yet filling and the coffee rocks!

The food tastes great and the service is awesome. If you go during peak times prepare for cold food and cold coffee. They do their best but still frustrating for the price. This is not an inexpensive place to go for breakfast.

I always love Colleen’s! The food is delicious - the quiche is one of my favorites and the pastries are always heavenly! Great drink selection no matter what I’m in the mood for and the service is top notch!

While the food is great, continued lengthy wait times and permanent “we are short staffed” signs are getting old - we are almost three years into this pandemic and this is no way to run a business and keep customer loyalty. Adding insult to injury: running out of chocolate croissants after we ordered and paid for one. It’s not that hard to hand customers already-prepared items at the time of order. Also, I guess plain croissants now go for $4.50.

Cute place with indoor and outdoor dining. They have a coffee bar, homemade cookies and a decent assortment of sandwiches, salads and bowls to choose from for lunch. Their cold brew was good but a little on the weak side if you’d like a strong bond. I ordered a bowl and it was tasty. I would recommend this place and come back again.

My partner and I ordered two breakfast burritos (no modifications or changes, standard items) and one hot tea online for take-out. We were told it would be a 39-44min wait, so he timed it that he showed up 10 minutes before the time they gave us on the receipt. When he arrived, they hadn't even started cooking, and didn't until he checked in and told him why he was there. They weren't ready until 53 minutes after we placed the order (I checked the time stamps). Then, it took them another 8 minutes to make the tea, for a wait of over an hour total. If we'd known that they wouldn't start making the food until he showed up, he would have left earlier, as he was on his way to work and was trying to time it. I would caution anyone wanting to order online; you might as well go in and order there since it will probably be faster. That being said, the food was fairly tasty. The eggs in the burrito didn't taste seasoned, so I threw some hot sauce on it, but the braised beef was really nice and juicy. My partner said his burrito was good too.
