Billy Gail's - Branson on 265

I feel bad to review Billy Gail’s but I wanted to like it. We ordered the fried chicken and Burger. To be honest I have had better fried chicken at the local grocery store. The burger we ordered it Medium and I knew it would happen came back well done. It tasted and was cooked like it came from a cafeteria.

Pancakes were wonderful and tasty and (GINORMOUS) in size!

Ham was good
Eggs were good
Toast was good
Coffee was good
Hashbrowns good

I wouldn't order a stack of pancakes unless you need to feed a football team ,mascots, cheerleaders and the band.

Service was great , fast ,friendly and on point. My cup never ran out of coffee. JENN was our server.

We will be back again and again.

We came on Sunday morning at 10:30 and there was an 1.5 hour wait so we had to leave. Then we came back on Monday morning at 9 and had about a 15 minute wait. When we left the place was packed with people waiting to get in. The food is amazing. Everything we got was great and LARGE! The service was awesome. Go here if you can!

This place used to be a hidden gem but not anymore! If going on the weekend, be there at opening or expect to wait! Very good food and VERY large portions! Of the 4 times we went in our month in Branson, I took a to-go box each time! Pancakes are their specialty, HUGE doesnt describe them. My husband couldnt finish one. Some of the things we had and recommend: Pancakes, French toast, Breakfast burrito, biscuits and gravy, Camp Breakfast. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. The only negative is the parking. They have 2 parking areas, difficult to navigate in an F450 but even for a car and if you are in the 2nd parking lot it's a hike to the restaurant, but they have a shuttle available to shuttle you to the door! Best place we have eaten in Branson area!

Had catfish and shrimp. That was not on the menu. They accommodated my request. It was a large group of us. I called ahead. They seated us quickly; even though one couple wasn’t there yet. Food was very good. Portions were huge. Everyone needed a to go box.

This looks like a hole in the wall but you will be surprised. Plan to wait about 30 to 40 minutes to get a table. The time goes pretty fast as you look at the collection of stuff on their ceilings and walls. We ordered a biscuit topper and an omelet. We also ordered one pancake to share. You get an ungodly amount of food which was very good but really they could sell half orders and that would be enough. The pancake was 14"in diameter! 3 to 4 people could share it. One thing was I tried to substitute something else for the hashbrowns but they wouldn't. All in all I would definitely recommend this place but come hungry and/ or share a plate with your significant other.

It was really busy when we visited. It took an extra long time to get our food after ordering. Once food arrived my burger was just ok. Not bad but not great either. The worst part was the cold lifeless french fries. Waitress never came by to check on us until we asked for the check. Oh well traveling through so I doubt anyone cares.

I usually eat breakfast but this time tried steak for dinner and it was delish. So well seasoned. Great atmosphere, friendly, good portions. Prices hurt a little but you get your moneys worth!!

This place is Awesome. Tucked away off MO 265, if you're looking for some great breakfasts, this is the place. The service was fantastic, billion dollar bacon, 14 inch pancakes, numerous breakfast choices. This is a must visit if you're staying in Branson.

We got the belly buster ( probabbly enough for 2 or 3 people), biscuits and gravy combo, and the French cakes for 60 bucks. All of the food was delicious and huge portions. The waiter was also great! All around great experience.
