With prices going up I was concerned at first but the portions were impressive and our waitress, Alana, was great! Her quick service & kindness, even when she was super busy, is hard to come by. We have never had a bad experience at Springfield Avenue Cafe.

It took over 45 minutes to get our food after placing our order. When the food finally came, it was not correct, items were left put and one of the people in our party didn't even get theirs. They had to wait another 15 minutes for it to be made. Most of the food was not to temp and was just ok flavor wise.

Right to left. Dessert sampler. 5.49. Great in concept but lacked in flavor. Frisco melt with fries 9.74 side of fruit 3.99 and last 2x2x2 14.49. Not impressed with food or service. Hashbrowns tasted of old oil. Melt was a small burger on regular bread. All in all there was not a lot of flavor to the food our server only checked on us after we were done. Will not return.

Our food and waiter was great! Atmosphere was wonderful! The cinnamon bread will also have to come back for by itself!

Wow is all I can say about the walleye dinner. Huge portions of wallet and fries. Service was great and friendly. Breakfast is good as well.

We went and were seated quickly. Food was...not super appetizing. It looked good but wasn't super hot, was pretty greasy. The place was packed so not sure what else to say. Boyfriend and I agreed for the price not worth it at all. We will not be going back ever.

On our family trip from Northern Minnesota, this was our favorite place to eat! Yummy food. Very welcoming staff. Affordable. GREAT atmosphere! On our way home, we will be stopping again. Highly recommended.

My partner and me thought we’d try this place thinking that it would be nice to try somewhere new. We showed up after the morning rush there was like 8 customers all together inside. no one said anything to us. The servers were to busy visiting we stood there a few minutes waiting to be seated. Finally the women who was working the register. Came over and rudely stuck us in a both in the back, and just walked away. No menu, no drink order, not a word, nothing just walked away. The waitresses are still visiting behind the counter. Well after about 5 minutes with still no one then an older couple who seemed to be regulars come in and they are welcomed and seated right away. And had drinks in just a couple minutes. And took their order. With us never even getting a hi or anything. We left! Would give a negative star if I could. It was a horrible experience.

Leaving fat and happy! If you are passing through, you HAVE to stop here. This will be our new Sunday stop each time we visit Springfield. Delicious food and wonderful staffing. The marketing on their menus is beautiful too. They are doing a great job!

Nice and simple little place. The energy is warm and inviting. The servers were polite and carried their own positive vibes when interacting with guests. As far as my opinion goes on the food I personally will need to visit a few more times and order other dishes. I did order waffles, 1 strawberry & 1 plain, but unfortunately....even though they're WAFFLES....they were under cooked and flavorless. Smh. There was no golden brown with a slight crunch when taking a bite. Along with no fluffy sweet interior......hopefully better next time I go!!!
Lmao.
