Brenda's cafe is great for down home cooking during breakfast or lunch. Prices are extremely reasonable and the service is normally quite good.

Google compared to Rosie Jo's. WRONG! Took forever. Cornbread is Jiffy corn muffin. Waitresses have lots of time to visit w friends or whatever because obviously need more cooks. They do not have time to check on people they don't know. Price was different than advertised. Waitress was rude. Will NEVER return! BAD EXPIERIENCE

Casual dining with a cozy diner atmosphere. Friendly and attentive servers. Inexpensive breakfasts and lunches with plenty of options. Every time I go here I spend less than $10 per person. Whenever I'm in Bolivar I drive by to see if they are open, but have been too late the past few times. This is one of the best places in Bolivar to eat a nice breakfast or lunch that's cheap and fills you up.

Great local diner with outstanding food and daily specials. Our waitress was the person who runs the place and we got terrific service. The gooseberry pie was super good!

I haven't eaten that much food in a very long time portion sizes are definitely well worth the visit. All of the waitresses very friendly and Gabe extremely bright service! If you're looking for a hole in the wall that is not very busy this is not the place for you if you don't mind being in a room that's a little crowded but doable I want to eat some amazing food definitely should try best diner in Bolivar

The most unprofessional cold food wait time a joke one hand doesn't know what the other is doing lunch hour better have 2 hours and the owner could care less. I would crawl to Springfield or anywhere else before I would ever go back . What are you paying theses people to give five stars or they will eat just anything

We stopped in for breakfast as we were traveling through. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The bacon was nice and crispy and the hashbrowns were well seasoned and cooked just right. The service was very good as well. I recommend you stop and eat here if you’re traveling through.

I consider myself somewhat of a pancake connoisseur and Brenda's makes the best pancakes I have EVER eaten! The service was great and the food was awesome! Will definitely be back next time I'm in Bolivar!
