Very nice cafe that offers entertainment! Fun place to grab a bite to eat! Nice variety on their menu!

Man! Their burgers are just too good. That's what keeps me coming back. Check out their website for calendar events. Musicians play live on certain evenings. They also have an outdoor patio area.
⬆️This review of The Wolf Cafe was 4 years ago. I’m back here to add that they still have the best burgers in town. I frequent this place every chance I get. They have great coffee, beer on tap, and many other great foods. I just can’t help but order the Joe burger every time. It’s made with grass-fed beef and nitrate-free bacon; just so good. They used to serve this burger on a pretzel bun which definitely took it to another level. Hopefully, that’ll come back after the pandemic supply issues improve. They still have regular events on their calendar. Check them out sometime.

Best restaurant in west county period. Fresh, health conscious food that never lacks flavor or flair with the absolute best staff. I literally go here some days for breakfast, lunch, and dinner it's so good. Plus the atmosphere is just great too, with the walls adorning art for purchase, records and signs explaining how they keep their restaurant local, organic, and sustainable.

The Wolf is the quintessential community hub. Ballwin residents and the wider West County community flock to this part-restaurant/part-coffee shop/part-bar. There is a breakfast, lunch, and dinner rush for folks looking for high-quality, local ingredients and meals that fit various dietary needs (my favorites are the Slinger for breakfast and the Black Bear for lunch/dinner). Business men and women, pastors, and students frequently sit for hours and "work from home" while sipping coffee. And for those looking for some craft beer, an evening glass of wine, or a creative cocktail, the "bar" element is also well above average.

In addition to the great food and drink on offer, it's hard to beat the general "vibe" of The Wolf: quirky and local art all over the walls, staff members full of cheer, a compost bin of sorts, and special events ranging from weekly open mic nights to annual 5K races.

It is definitely not "cheap" compared to other restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but their commitment to local, healthy, and ethical eating is not "cheap" on their end either. It is a great value for what you are receiving, and there are few places where you feel better about spending your hard-earned money.

The music seems to always please at the Wolf! And the food does as well. It is a little more expensive than average, but well worth it.

11/30/19. Heard tonight no more groups over two people. Salt of the Earth played tonight. The place was packed. Many gave up and left. The owner must not like making huge profits because that is what they did tonight. Sad.

The Taproom Lounge is fantastic! Head through the doors past the bar for the "secret lounge" where there are great cocktails and a mellow record player spinning vibes.

Who knew something so cool was right under my nose?? A plethora of gluten free options, too. Come here, give them money, eat good food, drink good coffee. #glutenfreeflyer

This is hands down my favorite place to have a casual meal in the area. It is excellently set up and decorated with a wide variety of (sometimes local) art.

The food is amazing and pretty much any drink on the menu is a good choice. They serve alcohol which is a plus if you’re looking to partake.

Sometimes they even have live music which is great and their outdoor seating is nice too.

Literally the greatest place that has ever existed. Dank food (we usually do breakfast). Slapping coffee. Killer baked goods that are dietary friendly. They also have dranks?! Their new taproom has the best craft beer selection in this area.

Go now. Go today. You will not regret.

I found the owner very short tempered and rude to customers around were I was sitting
If you write a not so 4 or 5 star review they snap at you on line for what you said. This is why they have reviews, stop bullying customers for their opinion, you are not that great.
