This place has great coffee; however, the quality of some things there leaves a lot to be desired. In particular, I am referring to the cups, lids, and complete lack of stoppers for people on-the-go. I would drink coffee here all 5 days a week as well as many other people I know, but there's always one complaint and that's the cups. It might seem picky to complain about, but it can really ruin the experience. If the coffee stays in the cup too long, they will sometimes start leaking at the seam. If you're on the go and aren't driving a brand new Cadillac, prepare to have coffee splattered all over your dash and car since they don't have stoppers or lids with caps. Even then, I wouldn't give them 3 stars if it wasn't for the fact that I know they could afford to buy these. At over $5/drink for most drinks and for having the fan base they do, they should be able to not cheap out on something that is very overlooked. That being said the overall experience is fantastic and the employees are extremely nice.

Absolutely the best coffee shop I’ve ever been to. Super customer service, amazing drinks, and they even have a drive through.🤩
The only reason I’d hold back 5⭐️ is because the parking is super limited and it’s a huge pain getting in and out.
Honestly though, it’s more than worth it to fight the traffic for Strange Brew. 🙌🏼

Strange Brew is the best coffee shop in Starkville! We go often and always receive good service and good coffee.

Strange Brew offers a unique variety of tea, coffee and treats in a fun enviornment. I certainly enjoy the humor and witty bits you can find throughout the entirety of the business. It is a very busy place. That being said, I feel like she could use a good scrubbing/dusting but I must say that’s trying HARD to find criticism for those who think there’s always room for improvement. Check them out in Tupelo as well! You won’t be sorry that you did!

Strange Brew is the local coffee hotspot. If you like tea get the dojo or the London dog, however if you like coffee the albino squirrel is the house specialty! Now I must warn you the upstairs has comfy sitting places, and next door they own a creamery. Yes, both coffee and ice cream in one spot! P.S. some of the side cream is coffee flavored. Yes,get the best of both worlds. Please do check the place out while you are in town, it is worth it. Only downside is that the location is small.

The best coffee in Starkville/Starkvegas bar nine! They have whole bean coffee at a reasonable price. Specialty drinks like my favorite Mr. Wayne (as in John Wayne) which is white chocolate and butterscotch!

Great coffee and a great place to study! However, the baristas were talking trash about a customer that was in line before me, loud enough for the customers in the establishment to hear every word they were saying about her. Pretty tacky

Awesome coffee and service. They have very witty advertising and sign usage as well.

The coffee and bakery items are great. Their coffee doesn't have a burned aftertaste like Starbucks and the atmosphere feels so much better than chains.
