Coffee Central

So thankful for the coffee + community at Coffee Central. When I have a lot of work to do, it's the perfect place to sit down and focus. I love the atmosphere, and the experience is wonderful. I highly recommend the KP, Goldilocks, and Avocado Toast.

No more pricey than Starbucks. Lovely environment friendly staff and quality coffee. Definitely my new spot. Love supporting local businesses. Don’t forget to tip your baristas! Give this place a try you won’t be sorry.

Unfortunately, 1 star for service, not for quality. I ordered a large coffee with half and half. She proceeded to put in fat free half & half, and I politely asked her to use real real half & half. She argued with me that fat free is good and the same consistency as real creamer. I reiterated that I requested real half & half, and when she finally relented she threw the container on the counter and stammered as she retrieved a carton of the real stuff. She acted very put out that I wanted real cream. This is very off-putting as a customer. I am trying to support local business, but I'll just go to Starbucks (coffee is actually cheaper) if this is the service I can expect.

Just tried CC again 4-15-22, still 1 star. Ordered a 20 oz iced coffee with sugar and half & half. Large board says $4.00, they charged me $4.50 + $1.20 for cream and sugar! I asked for the manager, and she said "the board is wrong", with a smug attitude. I asked why I was charged for cream and sugar, she just smiled. Just know that you may pay more than you expect, and the "extras" here are not free.

Love the home feeling in this place. The food, the coffee, and staff are all great! I don't live in Hernando yet but I still make sure I stop by when I am. Great place to study and/or chat since there are two separate rooms for it.

The atmosphere was warm and cozy. I ordered the Honeycomb latte; the honey flavor did not outshine the presence of the lavender flavor, but rather they complimented each other beautifully. I highly recommend trying this coffee beverage.

What a great coffee shop! Beautiful and clean, awesome staff and coffee was delicious. My only complaint would be that they don’t have very many electrical outlets so you can sit wherever you want with a laptop plugged in. Not a big deal though, just have to make sure you have a full charge before coming in which is doable because this place is worth it! Thanks for being awesome Coffee Central, so much better than that black hole of a coffee shop called “Pinks” ;)

Best coffee shop around!

Good atmosphere and great place to study!

We were in Southaven for a couple days and Googled local coffee shops on our first evening. Coffee Central popped up, so we stopped in after dinner. Best choice we could've made! Drink options are phenomenal (if you need a good jolt, ask about the off-menu "Cowboy"), they serve amazing treats & snacks from various local shops & artisans, and the service is top-tier. The staff & owner are super friendly and can offer suggestions if you're looking for things to do or places to visit in the metro area. We loved it so much we made a point to go back on our last day in town. My 8yr-old (who's extremely sensitive to a place's vibe) insisted on putting some of her own money into the tip jar "because this place is really nice!" ❤ We will definitely return next time we're in the area.

Can not go wrong here. The best coffee spot. Only reason I gave it 4stars, the girl making the coffee was scratching her hair. She was using both hands and scratching while the coffee was brewing. I understand the chill vibe but come on. Not around the food and/or drinks.
