This adorable shop is definitely a favorite of mine now! The atmosphere is cool and funky, and I loved the vintage themed seating area. The baked goods and coffee drinks were all tasty, too. The associate who helped me was also kind and friendly, so it hits all the marks for me!

The owner pours her heart and soul into this business; it’s quite evident in the quality of the products. I’ve seen many complain about the prices.. Fellow patrons, if you want cheap, go to the local corporate run donut shop. If you want true art, to support local and unique taste, go to the prickly hip! No, I don’t work there. I’m a huge advocate for small business and for getting what I pay for. I paid in the hundreds for a magical *custom* cake for my daughters birthday two years ago that she still talks about today! The attendees are were floored that a cake could be so pretty and taste so good. They were accustomed to pretty cakes tasting like bitter fondant. Not PH cakes! You pay more but for the quality, beauty, and taste! If you can get that at your normal run of the mill bakery, go ahead, but as for my family and I, we are 100% loyal to the PH!

My daughters 3rd birthday cake turned out way better than I could have EVER imagined! The owner was so nice! She helped me make decisions I was indecisive about. She completely got my vision and took it exactly where I wanted it to go! My first time using the Prickly hippie will definitely not be the last! The design was on point and so was the flavor. I was completely blown away! Thx for making my daughters 3rd birthday one we Will never forget🥳💖💕

This place is so unique and great quality! The donuts were delicious and I really enjoyed the bananas foster latte. The succulents and dried flowers were also stunning, with lots of places to sit and relax. The owner was kind and genuine and the service was top notch. Definitely stop in!!

Asked Jenni to make a cake for my sisters baby shower and I could not have imagined a better cake! It was so pretty no one wanted to cut into it. We finally did and it was SO GOOD. Besides this beauty, I usually stop in when I'm in town to snag a few peace tarts before heading back to California and the staff are always so nice and happy. The vibes in the shop are like no other place in Mississippi.I highly recommend for any floral or bakery needs!

The Prickly Hippie did the flowers and flower crown for my wedding. I couldn't have been any happier with the results. Jenni was laid back and easy to work with in the planning process. She had such a great vision for what I described for our laid back wedding and the execution was perfect. PH was in the process of opening the store when we were planning and Jenni was still able to take time and answer questions for me. Not only are the flower and succulents great, but the coffee and sweets are something to brag on too. My favorite is the lavender latte and the stuffed cookie sandwiches. I appreciate the attention to detail PH provides in all of their products. It is a small business so that means personal service, which is totally worth it. I am one happy customer. PH keep up the good work. (Photo credit to Sharon Coker Photography)

It's his 40th and there's only two of us, and a whole cake is way too big for us both. I've reached out to The Prickly Hippie to see if they could do a small last min strawberry cake, but make it masculine with all his favorite sweets. They were able to squeeze in my order and totally pulled it off!! It's absolutely gorgeous, decadently delicious! He's in dessert heaven.

Super cute desserts! Stopped in while we waited for our pizza next door. My daughter had the cutest puppy cupcake, and she got the brownie for me. Both were delicious. My daughter also got a bracelet that she absolutely loves. Highly recommend!

Fabulously unique baked goods with an excellent caramel sea salt iced latte... yum! Great place to hang out and the gal working was super helpful.

I really wanted this place to be good. I have tried them twice. The first time I took my family here I was disappointed by the quality of the baked goods. Although very cute, the taste wasn’t there. I thought we would try them again for their Stranger Things themed treats. My daughter got a few desserts and I got a donut and a Frappuccino. My daughter didn’t finish her desserts, which says a lot and I took one bite of my donut. It felt like eating a donut that was made the week before. I was very upset by what we paid versus the quality of the baked goods that we received. Cute desserts are fun, but if you don’t want to eat them.. it’s pointless. My Frappuccino was delicious, though and the girl behind the counter was a peach.
