This place has a nice, varied menu of really good lighter fare. The coffee is excellent. The people behind the counter are friendly. It's definitely my go-to for coffee and snacks in Laurel. I didn't even mention the pies and pastries!

Absolutely horrible service!! I work one block from the coffee shop. Called an order in at 8:40 AM. Was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Go to pick up order and it’s not ready. Was told that it would be another 15 minutes. Because of my work I wasn’t able to pick it up at that time. It was one hour later before I was able to walk back to the coffee shop. The order was still not ready. Was told that they had to go to the grocery store before my order could be prepared. I went back to work no one ever called or offered any help with my order. No customer service. My suggestion is never to call in an order because you will not get your food. Don’t waste your time!!!!

3 "workers" behind the counter, 2 friends sitting at the counter, 10 minutes to get an ice coffee, out of cold brew, and an ice tea mistake. Made hot tea then poured it over ice. Worker shortage is no excuse for poor service.

Just finished at my favorite place in Laurel, MS. I drove 18 miles to get to Laurel.for breakfast. With my UPS sun hat on wearing, my mask and barely showing my gray hair, I approached the counter to order. I ordered the latte and a veggie sandwich.
After waiting for a long time and having the breakfast veggie sandwich and a latte, raspberry I think, I probably won’t be back for a long while because of the service I received. The young man at the counter took my order. He was wearing a cap turned rearward on his head and probably is not the best to have in front. After placing the order, he gave me card #90 and I told him I’d be outside on the sidewalk and asked if that would be ok. He said it would be 15 minutes and I said thank you and took my seat at one of the two sidewalk tables.
Waited about 30 minutes and a young lady graciously brought me the latte and I asked what about the food I ordered. She repeated asking, you had food? I said yes and I waited another 15 minutes for the food. And when it finally came, the young man aforementioned brought it out to me and didn’t say a word. I said thank you and asked if I could have another latte. He said it would be 15 minutes BECAUSE WE JUST HAD 10 ONLINE ORDERS COME IN. I said ok and to never mind then about the latte.. (He expressed his priority with that comment)
My rub is this. Please teach servers to simply apologize ALWAYS FOR ANY WAIT. My first thought was to mention my wait to him, but thought better given this youthful gentleman wearing the rearward cap. He likely was just at the job today. So I finished my food, which was absolutely delicious, cleaned all the crumbs off the sidewalk table, cleaned it with my hand sanitizer, took the trash and the plate back inside. As I stood at the outdoor table to leave the aforementioned gentleman with the rearward cap walked right past me on the sidewalk and did not say a thing. Not Ill get that or thank you or was the food good Another slight! I left my #90 order card on the inside counter trashed the trash and walked out sadly.

The bread on my sandwich was so hard I could not eat it. I noticed no one else in there was eating their food and realized why. All anyone could do was take the meat off of the brick-like bread and eat it.
I'm Italian and I love to bake bread. I know what real ciabatta bread is. It has a crunchy crust. The whole thing isn't supposed to be a dried brick inside and out. And the people were rude.

Drinks were good but you had a very long wait with no patrons in the store. They were out of coffee and my husband had to wait about 10 minutes for a cup. Products were good.

Had to drive unexpectedly to new orleans from atlanta.. my starbucks crazy daughter and I both were getting little whiny about no Starbucks across MS and Google found this Lee's. Much better than Starbucks.. hands down! I I don't know where they get their coffee - the coffee for plain americano black was exceptional. Granddaughter and her little friend had the caramel frappuccinos they usually get a Starbucks and they said they were much better also

Great little coffee shop! Outside of Slow Boat, probably my favorite place while visiting Laurel! Wife and I stopped by for cool beverages during the heat of the day and she ran into the guy on Home Town (which is the reason why i brought her down to visit the town). He could not have been more welcoming or nice. Outstanding ambassador for Laurel and this coffee shop would easily be one of my go-to stops if I lived here or visited more often.

My first time to eat here. It was crazy busy because of the Loblolly Festival. People were backed up almost to the door. They were extremely efficient, even given to the circumstances. I ordered and easily found a clean table, because wait staff were delivering food and cleaning tables quickly. My food was prompt and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Rueben sandwich with a cup of chicken and rice soup. I will eat there again very soon.

The BLT was only LT, coffee was cold because machine wasn't working, also saw cockroachs walking around.
Yes, it was your place. How else would I know where to post? It was, in fact, one of your employees, (a male), that told us that one of the machines has been broken for over a month and that the other was starting to go bad, and that they couldn't get the owners to fix it.
