Blooming Grounds Coffee House

Great service. The woman who owns it is very friendly. Great atmosphere, amazing food. Live music some nights, delicious flatbread pizza after 4pm, hot panin is during the day, fresh ingredients, delicious soups. I love my Winona Blooming Grounds locations! The one by mall even has a drive thru!

A local friend of mine introduced me to Blooming Grounds when I was visiting Winona a while back. Every time I've been in town since then, I have to stop for coffee because the drinks are consistently that good.

Our server Ashlyn was amazing. Very knowledgeable of menu and made very good suggestions for our order.

I like going here every once in while, mainly because at night in Winona it's the only place open downtown that is not a bar with fried food. That being said most of the food is ordered in frozen like the soup so it's not fresh or locally made. It is also fairly expensive. My biggest problem is the service. They employ mostly students who are much more interested in watching for friends coming in the door than paying attention to your order. Once i ordered the veggie panini and it came with just lettuce. I sent it back to get actual veggies!

Honestly not impressed. Good selection of food but the drinks are pricey and it takes forever if you go inside and order. The staff seems very inattentive and the girls are usually snobby. A smile never hurt anyone that's for sure.

The Winona area has many great coffee shops, but nothing close to what Amy Jo the owner has created with Blooming Grounds. An excellent coffee house with an amazing food menu selection (recommend the wraps) that are made by the happiest service minded employees I have ever seen. Many nights there is live music or events like the Mental illness Monologues to show the diversity of the Blooming Grounds Culture. If you are in Winona and are hungry or are looking for something new; I absolutely recommend this shop!!

I love the staff and the scene is cool. The 7 layered bar we tried was great. I've tried the espresso and drip and the coffee is your traditional tasting coffee, but it is mostly devoid of negative characteristics like bitterness.

Nice atmosphere. Food was good. Mostly self serve style, order order at counter. Get your own water, etc. Not a detriment, just something you should know.

Very laid back style coffee shop/cafe! Nice, helpful staff and fast service. The sandwich that I had was wonderful!

Great soups and paninis! My favorite is Ham and cheese and chicken blue.
