The Anchor Coffee House

I love that they offer a variety of chai tea latte flavors, and they are delicious! Not a lot of coffee places offer good alternatives to coffee, so as a tea drinker, I appreciate that they do. The online order and pick up option is also very nice to have.

I cannot say enough great things about Anchor Coffee! Not only is the coffee and food great, the atmosphere is welcoming, and best of all the staff is wonderful! They went above and beyond to help us plan a special event for a friend of ours. The day was perfect and everyone was so great! Thanks Anchor for being such a great part of the WBL community!

Some of the employees have a difficult time working while they are using their phones. Often they close earlier than their posted hours or close stations early. Its a super cute spot, the girls just need a push in the right direction. 🖤🖤

Honestly the nicest owner and staff around. Delicious coffee, great atmosphere. Always cute items for sale that support the community and local businesses. Great neighborhood coffee shop!

Stopped in for the first time last week. Cozy, comfy spot for a warm drink and bite to eat!
Service was very friendly and helpful in explaining the drink menu and customizing drinks! Lavender latte was especially good, as was the gf muffin; however, $6 for a muffin? This is the reason for 4 stars. Prices were a bit high.

Great coffee and great service! The barista even took a second to show us the latte art she made before putting on the lid! Such a cozy spot!

Feels good there, like a good place to start a writing project. I had a maple coffee, it's Minnesota's answer to pumpkin spice. Good flavor. Had a cheesecake muffin. Very good. Bought a giftcard and mug for a friend. She likes the mug!

The staff at Anchor Coffee is very polite and interacts well with customers. Good coffee and food. Nice atmosphere.

The Anchor is cute, affordable and everything you'd want a home town coffee shop to be. It runs with the theme of White Bear Lake while still having that country town feel. The aesthetic is truly a small boating town with its wood floors, decorations and chairs.

I gave this place 3 stars bc it is my first visit. The barista was lovely, is still very new to being a barista; but gladly takes your order with a smile and helpful attitude. I didn't meet the owner or really anyone who's there, but that doesnt detract from good service.

One other reason I detracted a star, tho not theory fault, is that they have terrible parking. In their defense, all of downtown as terrible parking.

I would, however, completely go again and bring a friend.
