This shop actually had excellent pie, but I cannot give it a better review due to its firm and ridiculous “no water” policy. This shop is located on the state bike trail. It’s heavily traveled and I suspect most of the customers are bicyclists. Our family of four stopped for pie and ice cream 2/3 of the way through a 24 mile ride on a hot sunny day. We had drank all of our water. After ordering we asked for water - as we were very thirsty and the pie would make us more so. They said they would only up sell us bottled water. What the ?? First, our family tries not to use bottled water whenever possible - but also, we had our own bottles that needed refilling. From the tap. Free water. But nope. Even after eating our pie. We were directed to a nearby park and told to use the spigot at the bottom of the drinking fountain near the ground (because it impossible to fill water bottles at a drinking fountain). We were told this by an adult - presumably a manager or owner. Huge customer service fail. Water is free and good Will is priceless. I recommend getting pie elsewhere - it’s also avail in the other trail towns.

Poor selection, sold out of almost everything just two hours after they opened. Sold me a scoop of ice cream for my pie only to inform me that they just ran out of that too, after I'd paid for it. Had to take my third choice of ice cream because it was literally all they had left. How they aren't better prepared for customer demand after years and years in business is beyond me. Their posted hours were 10:00-5:00 but we drove by again at 4:00 and they were already closed. Probably because they sold out. This is not a good thing, this is poor management.
The triple berry pie they gave me was actually blueberry—that the menu said they were sold out of by the way. Disorganized, overhyped, and not worth the money. The pie was okay at best. Might have liked it more had they actually had a flavor I was excited for available, or served me the right thing or even the thing I ordered. Such a disappointing visit. I was really looking forward to trying this place.

It's just one of those nostalgic must-dos if you are camping or biking through. There aren't a lot of places you can get real homemade pie anymore, and the variety is wonderful. Maybe they aren't the cheapest pieces of pie, but they are huge slices, and hey, you try to make a living off a pie shop. They do sell some sandwiches as well, but it's not their specialty.

Always a family favorite stop on our bike trips. The best pie shop you'll ever find.

We would like to send a BIG THANK YOU to the owners of Aroma Pie for being so hospitable to us. We were riding our Harley to Lansboro but had to pull over due to the heavy rain. We pulled up to the pie shop because we seen they had an awning. They welcomed us in to warm up and dry off. They even called to find a hotel room for us in Lansboro. Unfortunately, they were closed, so we were unable to sample their pies. But if their pies are as good as their hospitality, they will be amazing!!

Not sure what the hype was. Granted I got there around 4pm, but the peach blackberry pie didn't seem very fresh, i've definitely had better elsewhere. 1 slice of pie + 1 can of coke came out to almost $6!

It's a bit expensive.... Over $6 for one slice of pie, but SO DELICIOUS. Definitely the best pie I've ever had, and fun to bike to from Rushford!

This is an off the beaten path dessert pie and ice cream place for a special treat. However, if you don't get here in their first couple hours of opening ur pie preference most likely will not be available.

I'm not even a dedicated pie fan but this pie was one of the most beautiful things I've ever tasted. I had bites of their banana cream, raspberry vanilla something, and coconut cream. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Cute little pie shop in a cute little town. A must try!
