Boondocks Cafe

The food evidently is mostly made from scratch. The french toast, the bacon, even the homemade syrup, is warm and delicious. But as a result, it takes quite a lot of time to prepare. If you are in a rush and want to have a quick breakfast, going here is not a good idea.

The Boondocks Café is hands-down the best food your mother could ever make. Consider it your mom away from home. Macy our server and waitress was exceptional. She had a spring in her step, a smile on her face which she combined with enthusiastic service. At the recommendation of another customer the hot beef and roast beef were fantastic menu items. If you’re ever in Wadena MN sure to stop at the Boondocks Café.

Another perfect breakfast. Never a disappointment when you get your meal.

Very great service and Worker here’s. Very good food from what I’ve seen but the burgers (in my opinion) aren’t the best. The could taste a little fresher but othered great place

Received a warm and friendly service during our stop in this little town. The ladies working went above and beyond to make the restaurant covid-19 safe, wiping down tables and chairs after every use.

The French toast was especially good! Highly recommend a stop here if you can.

Great lunch! The specials were plentiful (6) and all priced $8 and DOWN! Eight at our table and everyone commented on the huge portions and wonderful taste. Best lunch we have had in a year! Try it.

We ate here for the second year in a row on our way home from we fest. They have absolutely the best food, just like a home cooked meal. Customer service is a 10 plus staff is super friendly. Great job guys. See you next year!
