Judy's Cafe

Eating here is a must! Their breakfast omelets were amazing. (Mushroom/bacon & pizza omelet).
Strawberry banana cream pie was a new venture that I wish was offered in more places. Judy's had a pleasant small mom & pop shop vibe. Best way to describe Judy's Cafe is, Betty's without the wait, and half the price.

For a small town restaurant in a tourist area, this was great! The restaurant is smaller and not fancy. BUT the service was incredible. The serving staff was flying around. Never a glass nor a coffee cup went dry! The food was equally fast, hot and tasty yummy 😋.

Rode the train from duluth to two harbors and decided to stop here for lunch. Service was terrible, it was taking a long time to get our food so i asked how much longer. The waitress seemed pretty annoyed. It took us 35 min to get a burger and turkey melt. My moms order was wrong, they made no effort to correct it, just didn't charge her for the fries. The bill seemed wrong so I asked the waitress about it when she was ringing it up. She was rude and argumentative and didn't even thank us for coming in. Because it took so long to get our food, there was no time for shopping before catching our train back. Waitress was a young girl with long red hair. I do not recommend this place if you want even an average experience.

We found this place so-so, maybe their breakfast food is better than lunch/dinner. Some of it is overpriced, I can't believe we paid $14 for a chicken basket that consisted of 4 chicken strips and a small portion of bland fries.

Great food and service. The homemade cranberry wild rice bread is really good. They have good bacon. The waitress was wonderful, and our food was served quickly. Will go back.

Really a nice place. The veggie omelette and rye toast was yummers.

Food was good but it was very unprofessional. One waitress was very crabby and rude. She ignored our table and lots of other tables even when we were looking right at her. She is unsanitary also. She held our glasses from the top and we saw her reach into her shirt and... adjust. Her clothes were unprofessional and there's only like 10 tables in there. The decor is very ugly and strange. Was very disappointed and confused how this place has 4.5 stars :(

Ok this is totally a mom and pop feel. We came in a little late an hour before closing and the gal was so nice. the food was ok for the price. they did make my daughters steak wrong the first time. but with out question or even us asking she ordered a new one for my daughter. The unfortunate thing that happened, is a Table of 16 came in 15 minutes before closing, I felt so bad, I wanted go to and help, at least bring the waters to the table. Her eyes got big but she handled it like a pro.

Nice small town diner. Great value. Great friendly service.
