Nice spot for gas and to grab wood for Temperance river camping. Two bundles will last you about 4 hours if you are modest about it, otherwise I would recommend 3 bundles for a comfortable fall evening. The bundle of birch is great and includes kindling board and plenty of volatile bark.
Very clean store super nice grab u bait and tackle and gas or diesel grab food and candy and or snacks or cold coffee or hot coffee hot food cold fountain drinks nice bathroom nicer than grand Grand Marais
Stopped here for my cappuccino and to fill up on gas. Saw eggs were $1 cheaper than local grocery store about mile into Tofte. Employee checking me out at till said Holiday is only gas station selling the new mountain dew. Great service. Would stop here again.
My lifeline for beverages when staying at Bluefin Bay, now more convenient for pedestrians with direct access to the Gitchi-Gami State Trail, extra star because as of this review date they have World's Best Donuts (from Grand Marias) Thursday through Monday!!
We stop here for gas for our sleds. However, when we stopped Sunday night, February 3, at 9:50 PM the two workers who were there were extremely rude. We filled up our sleds on the trailer since we were headed back to the cities and were planning to fill up the truck as well. I ran in to use the restroom. On the way out I decided to grab a hot chocolate. While the hot chocolate was filling up, one of the cashiers came out to watch me and give me some sort of annoyed look. I couldn't figure out what on earth the issue was until I realized it was 9:59. I went up to pay for my hot chocolate and not a hi, nothing. I tried to joke with her and said, "It must be closing time." I just got a "yep." So I said, well then looks like I made it just in time. Nothing. No comments from the peanut gallery. Absolutely nothing. I walked out and told my husband we will fill up the truck somewhere else and proceeded to tell him what happened at the "friendly" little station. So we left and got gas at the next station. Where people were friendly. I have never been chased out of a store in my life. Lesson learned... do not go into this store just before closing time. I was tempted to hang out even longer just for good measure.
Cheerful customer service on the day we visited..Our family was impressed with the large variety of snacks, beverages, lunch sandwiches. A great place to stop before you venture home South or further up North.

Good all around gas station. However, unmutable ads at the gas pump is enough to drag the entire experience down to one star.
A shame too, because the breakfast pizza rocks!

I couldn't figure out how to pump gas here, but it's a nice place and the employees were really friendly.

Clean, convenient, and kind employees. FYI though they don't accept EBT (SNAP) and I'm not sure why...

Good little gas station. Fresh baked goods, lots of selection on food. Service is good. Never closes.
Check dates. Some stuff seems to survive a long time on shelf here. I bought a kind bar that was an antique by mistake.
