Great place to grab a coffee with a friend. Modern atmosphere. Delicious baked goods. A little chilly in the winter, so bring a sweater.

Super cute cafe! WiFi is great, coffee is good and the people are very sweet. It was the perfect setting to hang out and get my morning meetings done.

A perfect little coffee shop on 169 going through St. Peter. I really enjoyed their espresso (carmel latte) and they also have great food options as well. Atmosphere inside is very welcoming and a great place to get some work done or just chat with some friends.

I Love stopping at River Rock Coffee when traveling through St. Peter! They make delicious hand-made coffee drinks and have amazing pastry items. Today I had a fall apple spice scone and a salted caramel latte! Both were A+!

Amazing coffee and such awesome girls/staff - Maren, Helena, and Erin, just to name a few! They know how to make excellent drinks. The seasonal flavor offerings are such a wonderful addition, like the Golden Milk Latte or the Rosemary Caramel Latte - both more savory than sweet. I also love that they have unique combinations for their baked goods, such as lemon and thyme, and my personal favorite spice addition, cardamom! The scone, muffin, etc flavors rotate daily. The cornmeal cake is delicious and moist when they have that - a must get!
Some people have commented on the prices being too high for what you get. After having lived in NYC and also going to coffee places in downtown Minneapolis, I personally don't find the prices to be too expensive. I think you get great quality and locally sourced ingredient for an excellent price.
No joke, probably my favorite coffee shop of all time (even over NYC places!). LOVE that I work minutes away from River Rock!
The only negative? There's no reward program! (It would be an awesome addition, as nearly every mom-and-pop coffee shop has one. Please consider adding this perk, especially for all of your tried and true regulars!)

To simplify a whole beautiful encounter, which are plentiful at River Rock Coffee, the last words the barista said as I left were, "We have your back." A 5 minute walk, and I get to enjoy this lovely coconut lavender latte with this gorgeous view.

A delightful, whimsical coffee shop that serves equally impressive drinks, pastries, and lunch.
I used to be a cupping Neanderthal who liked gas station coffee, but River Rock has forever ruined that hobby by introducing my taste buds to real coffee beans.
Boy or girl, I will name my first-born after the hermit cookies. Hermit Juffer it is. I have no recourse.

Beautiful atmosphere. Quiet and lots of natural light. First time here for all of us and our drinks were delicious!

Friendly service, very busy. tuna melt was okay, but the grilled cheese was bland and not cooked well; cheese not melted enough and bread barely grilled. I only ate a few bites. Not even close to being what you expect for a $9 sandwich. Disappointing š

Lots of seating and spaceānot crowded by tables. Very friendly staff who remember your name! High quality tea. Not too loud with some soft music and general conversation. I love this place!
