First ordered salad, 5 minutes later had to order something else, not enough lettuce. Ordered sandwiches with lettuce, tomato and onion, tasted great but no tomatoes.

Seemed expensive for 2 breakfast sandwiches with double eggs, a cinnamon roll, a coffee and a latte, came out to be about $21. The breakfast sandwich used frozen egg patties.
The cinnamon roll was great! Very nice and friendly staff. Very helpful about the local area as well. Very convenient, right across from the hotel I'm staying at. However, knocking a couple stars down for frozen egg patties and the price.

Every year we travel up the North Shore we make sure to stop here. Excellent service, friendly staff, locally owned, and a wide variety of food and drink options make this a must stop!

Good pastries and I was happy to get a breakfast sandwich in the afternoon. I had tea so I'm not able to speak for their coffee. They offer subs, pizza and calzones as well. Only 2 tables, but it's fun to share and chat with the locals. I hopped over to the museum and gift shop next door for some history too.

Malt was dynamite. Really great roasted coffee options and the baked goods looked great.
Got a sandwich and it was pretty good - basic, but not a bad thing. Lots of outdoor seating with a great view.

Great food, more like amazing food. But we were treated very rudely upon arrival, being mushed out for not having masks(which is fair but we didn't bring any since we planned on hiking all day then cooking at camp) so they told us to head to the window. When we did it went pretty smooth, until the last of our party was waiting in the rain for 10 minutes just to order even after we had all been served, an older woman made eye contact with him several times without opening the window. When he started to turn and walk away she finally called to him saying "What do you want?" Then we headed home to camp. We headed back after our hikes the next morning, hoping to get some more malts and sandwiches. It wasn't raining this time so we were fine waiting for a bit to be served. We were then yelled at to "Move! You need to move!" By the older woman there (the assumed to be owner/manager) so we stepped aside and then were ignored for 10 minutes. When the older woman finally came to take our order she whipped out her pad and asked us "What do you want?" While rolling her eyes. There was a very rude back and forth before one of our party of 8 walked off. When we asked why she was being so rude to us, the best explanation we got was "I'm having a rough day. Please just tell me what you want." We proceeded to order our wraps and malts, which came in a relatively quick fashion given there were now 7 of us. When we politely asked what size our cup was to make sure we got a large malt, we got another eyeroll and sigh as she whipped out 2 cups and said indicating to the larger of the two "As you can see THIS is the large, which is what YOU HAVE." And then indicating to the smaller cup "THIS is a small" and then proceeded to slam the window in our face. We walked off annoyed but ultimately enjoyed the food anyway, which speaks to how good it was.

The young woman behind the counter greeted me immediately with a smile. I asked if
They had apple fritters “yes we do, right here” was her response”. The woman who was the baker, immediately scolded her and reprimanded her saying “those are turnovers, not fritters, I’m a baker”. I felt bad for the young lady as boss lady was not at all kind. I bought an apple turnover and a cherry turnover. As I left, I noticed a sign on the door which read “all of our employees are vaccinated”. I commented “hey, thanks for being vaccinated”. The boss sneered at me. The turnovers were ok, but I kept thinking about the young lady and her demeaning boss. I told the young lady she was doing a good job. Again, boss lady sneered at me. Frozen turnovers put in oven, does not really make a baker.

This place is a must visit! We visited 3 days in a row on our trip to the north shore. Great Latte, hot chocolate, cinnamon roll, breakfast sandwich and the calzones are amazing! Friendly staff, and great prices. We will definitely be back to visit our next trip!

The chocolate malt and the nachos here were so good. This place is so cozy and has lots of picnic tables outside. A perfect stop on the highway with coffee options and snack foods for the family. Loved it.
