Scooter's Coffee

One of my favorite places in Rochester! This is the first coffee shop I've ever been to that has the taste of the coffee so closely resembling the aroma. The staff is extremely efficient, polite, and some of my favorite people in town. Every morning the quick drive-through chat starts my day, helping to kick my day off right. Keep doing what you guys do, and you'll hopefully set the standard for how coffee shops should be!

First time visiting Scooter’s (went before work) and I ordered a medium cold brew black. When I got the drink, it looked like iced tea and thought that was odd, but I was in a hurry so I grabbed it and left. Took one sip and it tasted like water with a hint of coffee. Super disappointed, I’ve never had a cold brew or coffee so weak.

Scooter’s is a terrible company that would rather have their employees freeze than allow them to wear jackets that would cover up their uniform logo. Do yourself a favor and purchase your coffee elsewhere.

Went to this place a few times but there's this barista name Lucy or something she's very friendly and always recommending stuff that might be to my taste. I've met a few of the barista mostly this one who like to promote her girls band or sing thing which seems interesting but personally think should be left on down time . I usually almost always go in the afternoon and before they told me they couldn't make my blended drink with a non dairy product but the friendly barista Lucy said she can and would give it a try..... She even said if I didn't like it she would remake it🥳 She made me my drink and let me say it was amazing and she even told if other barista said they couldn't make it with the other milk to say yes you can and that "Lucy did it". In general I think she has experience but seems to enjoy the barista life. I give this place a 5 because most baristas are friendly and willing to help and the drinks 🤩😍.

Tried scooters for the 1st time today. I ordered an iced white mocha. It tasted like burnt coffee with water. It didn't taste anything like an iced white mocha. Very disappointed, may give it one more try in the future to see maybe if it was a bad day or something.

Nice place to stop for a coffee. Not so crowded as the main brands

This chain "Coffee House" is created by people who doesn't live or seem to know anything about coffee!
There are NO MUGS! Absolutely a non-friendly environment of plastic and paper disposable one time use cardboard things.
Recently Starbucks announced they will throw away one time paper cups and return to ceramic mugs, as coffee should be enjoyed. The disposables will be !

The interior design was thought to be a modern welcoming atmosphere. They tried to make the interior (pretty simple Ikea style) for people to sit and relax, but sitting with paper cups is garbage in your hand and drinking coffee out of it?!

And don't tell me about Covid please - simply wash the mugs, after the customer use, as better shops are doing with forks, plates and spoons.

Secondly, and a real experience started when we came to the register and we couldn't find the basic main base coffee drink such as espresso or even cappuccino?!?

We saw honey something, coco something, chocolate, etc etc. When we ask - worker (barista?) they could not find it either. Manager came - in 1.5 minutes they found it on the screen of terminal!

But the main problem was they don't have espresso, they don't have double golden standard espresso - they have triple espresso!

Finally the manager victoriously announced the main that made my week: the manager boasted "we could do double espresso for you but you will pay for a triple"!
LOL! LOL ! LOL! Farewell!

RETHINK before it's too late: rethink the whole concept, rethink menu, rethink prices (awfully high - hello hello - it is not NEW YORK! IT isn't.), start from the base roots of coffee.

Get a Flatwhite finally on the menu- be progressive!

The service was good, but drinks left a lot to be desired. We hadn't been before and decided to try it. We ordered iced americanos and they were some of the worst we've had in awhile. We order just a little bit of cream in them, but even had we left them black, they still would have been too weak. They were on the watery side and you could barely taste the espresso. If you prefer a stronger coffee, this maybe isn't your place.

Went for the first time on a Saturday morning. My first impression was how the atmosphere was cozy, but when I spent more than five minutes, I realized it was bland. There is a lot of dead space and there is no music. Does not seem inviting for a place to spend an hour for a conversation.

The food did not look appetizing, I ended up getting oat meal which was OK. Overall, my experience was that of mild disappointment. It might best to skip this place and go to Caribou.

Lattes are very good, just what i like. Some people may like them sweeter though. This is the first Scooter's I've been to that is not drive through only. It is nicely decorated and very clean. The staff is very friendly.
