Café by Country Kitchen

Good service and good food but the place could use some cleaning up. Especially outside. The Christmas decorations are still there but falling off the railing and laying on the ground, etc. Bad first impression when you're going in the door.

The folks here were pretty busy seemed to have enough staff but for all I know everyone works 7 days a week? Service was very good I thought it took a little too long to get the food for 4 adults and a toddler?

When we walked in I knew we were in for a disappointing breakfast. The planters before walking in were dead and looked like no one has paid attention. Inside the place looks cozy but there is an odor and most of the booths need to be re-done. Flies are in abundance and the food was decent but extremely slow. We are the only customers here. Waitress was not warm and friendly, she was just going thru the motions. Not a lot of customers coming in to eat. Not a place I will recommend. You can hear what the workers are talking about. Our waitress was worried about the older one going to the bank. The cook was talking to someone else about current middle east events. No urgency to serve us and make sure we were attended to. Terrible place.

I highly recommend this place. Not only did we show up 10 minutes before closing but there were 7 of us. Without hesitation Brandon seated us and waited on us quickly and with perfect manners. He didn't rush us and answered all of our questions to help us order better. The food tasted great and we left full and satisfied. We were beginning our long trip back to California and had had a very long first day. Thanks to Brandon and the cook(who's name we didn't get). Truly a proper show of hospitality from a great restaurant crew.

Food was cold took an hour and a half to get the food

The food was good. Our server may just have been having a bad day, but she was quite short mannered, didn't check on us.
