Tin Tea

Great atmosphere, the staff is always so kind and fast! EXCELLENT tea (my favorite flavor is the strawberry or pineapple). Owner, Chau, is very sweet and works tirelessly to make her company a success.

Heh my friends and I absolutely loveeee tin tea!! The staff is so nice and we never have any issues when we go! Id recommend the matchata (genius idea) + the pork banh mi.

Our first stop in, and WOW!! We’re hooked!! We tried the pork and Cha Lua banh mi, both were excellent!! The bread was crusty on the outside and soft in the inside, the meat so tasty, and the veg was fresh. We also hard a Thai and Taro milk bubble tea!! We are so lucky to Tin Tea in town, and we’ll definitely be back!

It's always really busy in here, good for them! Fantastic idea to open a boba shop in Northfield. But the real secret is their banh mi sandwiches! The cold cut is the most authentic, definitely the best you can find south of MPLS. Fresh crisp baguette, good pate, and a few choices of meats if you don't want traditional. I wish they pickled their veggies and daikon, but still kills the craving for a very hard to find food.

Good tea and great staff, but they only fill reusable cups if its a cup you bought from their store. Management was communicative and a positive change will hopefully be coming in the future!

Absolutely amazing staff they make you feel comfortable and as if you're at home and you are family they are wonderful beautiful people is a very beautiful place to get tea and coffee would 100% recommend this place to stop by and get your self a tin tea

TinTea is hands down my FAVORITE Boba Cafe!! The drinks are perfectly crafted, the spring rolls are tasty (and filling), and the service is immaculate~ Not to mention the whole shop being photo worthy. Would easily recommend this place to all my favorite people!

Here's how I would summarize Tin Tea: Innovative, superb, high-quality boba (AND bahn mi) served in a beautifully curated cafe with the absolute best Gen Z/Millennial chic vibes.

There's so much I could say about this place, omg. I think I should start by saying that it's one of my favorite boba restaurants ever, and that's saying something, because I promise I have been to at least 50 boba cafes in this country.

You need to know that the boba is consistently incredible, with the perfect sweetness and texture. There are also so many options! Something for people who want to be very sophisticated or just simple with their drinks.

And last but not least, you will absolutely love the owners! They are a family that cares deeply about the cafe (it was named after the owner's little brother! So precious!), and that same care and intentionality translates to the quality of their products.

This place needs more attention! Definitely check it out, and be sure to take your time with your selection, because they have so many great choices!

We did a pickup catering order from Tin Tea for 200 cups of tea. Chau and the staff were incredible for the whole process, helping with flavors, packing them in coolers, and having them ready before we came to pick them up so it was an easy transfer. Could not ask for someone more communicative and on top of things, and the tea was also delicious!! Everyone loved it.
