Awesome place! All the staff are very nice and my drinks are always made consistently fantastic. I've been at least 20 times at this point and have only ever had one drink that was even slightly off. Shop doggo brings joy as well :)

I've been a life long customer since it's inception, when John and Chad opened it in '91? Dan and Kathryn (forgive me if misspelled) bought it from them and never looked back. I can say that I've never had a bad cup of Joe, no matter what I ask for! Smoothies are great too. It's a down to earth place!

Latte, mocha were perfect drinking temp, not too sweet, nicely roasted coffee. London fog started very hot, but after a few cooling minutes was a nice brew with a good layer of froth. Hot cider was made from fresh cider and was a real treat. Decor was locally owned eclectic style and comfortable though a little tight.

First time going here and my wife brought me in for a Valentine's Day breakfast. The food was good and they have an excellent loose leaf tea selection. I personally prefer loose leaf over bag tea, so this was a nice feature. They are also well decorated and have a nice home feel to the seating area. Tables are also sectioned off for the Covid restrictions as well, which I am always happy to see being done.

The best coffee !!! Takes me back to an old coffee shop in Montana!! Come here Instead of the big name brand coffee shops... you won't be disappointed !! The line is SO worth it !!

Favorite place to get coffee, I've never entered a better atmosphere. 110% would recommend.

I grew up in Northfield and this was basically my introduction to coffee. I've since lived elsewhere and have settled in Seattle, and although there is some good coffee out here by any standard, I can still taste Blue Monday. So, I asked them to ship me my favorite beans and they have done just that, multiple times. It doesn't even cost much more than buying coffee out here because you know, it is outrageously expensive to live out here.
I have so many memories from this place. I stop in every time I am back. I do miss Aaron (one of my favorite baristas ever) and even though I read some reviews that said Dan and Catherine were rude to them, in 24 years, i have never had a bad interaction.
I'm glad they are still open. Keep on keepin' on!

Awesome little place! I was pleased they had vegan options / non-dairy milks, and the drink I got was delicious.

Gotta love Blue Monday. The furniture hasn't changed since it opened, it's eclectic, comfortable, bright and grungy too. If you can get a place to sit (usually, but there are really busy times), it's a great place to study or get some work done or visit. The convenience of keeping a coffee card on file (my 10 year old to go get himself a hot cocoa on his own card) is awesome - and the chai lattes and cocoa are favorites. The best of Blue Monday however is the conversations you will overhear. Small and sometimes hard to ignore, it's totally entertaining since you never know what kind of conversation will be going on here. Once, my son was given a pony by a patron telling a friend hers needed a new home and my son volunteering. 6 years later, we still have the pony. And many more excellent visits. This place is a unique, local, fun coffee shop.

Coffee was fresh and the price was fair. Full flavor and quality you expect. The seating was very limited and had to share a less than desirable couch cushion. Ended up meeting new people and having nice conversation so it worked out. Will be back.
