Segue Coffee

I liked the atmosphere with the plants and lots of windows. I ordered a peppermint bark mocha and a bacon eggy sandwich. They were both delicious! The owner also suggested Chai latte at first, when I said I don’t like chai, he proceeded to make me a small chai latte sample! So sweet! I actually liked it except for spices on top but that’s a me thing :)

To top it off, there is a DOG and he’s so cute and well behaved!

Definitely would recommend this small business to anybody!

Had chai and some waffles there about a month ago and just woke up with that place on my mind. It was amazing! Great atmosphere, staff, and food. Will definitely continue going whenever in Minneapolis.

Coffee and food were good. The guy who took our order was very short with us and over-explained things in a condescending way. The menu is spread out across many different chalk boards, which made the ordering experience confusing. He forgot the chips and sauces that were supposed to come with our sandwiches, then went and laid on the couch in the cafe. I understand that breaks are important but at that time it felt like he was leaving the other barista on her own while there were still customers waiting to be helped. The other barista who made our drinks was very kind and helpful.
As someone with years of experience in the coffee industry, the “coffee snob” attitude is very frustrating. I’m sure this was a one-off experience, but I will not be returning.

Great coffee and baked goods in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere 👍🏼 Ample, comfortable seating, including a large table in their back room to accommodate up to ten people. The atmosphere here is relaxed and inviting. I frequently bring one of my clients here - he always orders their iced chai latte, and while I haven’t tried it myself, it certainly looks delicious!

Awesome coffee and food, especially the Nordic waffles and muffins.

I just wish that they had longer hours, especially on weekends.

The baristas are always super friendly and helpful too!

The coffee, food and assortment of drinks are all good. They have seasonal drinks similar to Starbucks, but with a more hometown feel. They make the best pistachio muffins (try one!) and amazing pumpkin spice lattes! With a friendly atmosphere that is more chill and less city life, it makes you feel at ease.

Nordic waffles are a MUST. Brewed coffee is excellent. Staff is always super friendly and personable. Could not recommend this place enough!

Segue is part of my Saturday morning routine, with a dirty chai latte and Nordic Waffles. I recently stopped in during lunch time during the week on a soup day. The aggressive-sounding Warhammer sandwich will defeat your hunger with ease.

It’s just a comfortable place to take a break, or set up a laptop.

Also, Ninja is a big fan.

We were only in town for a week and ended up stopping here twice for the breakfast. My wife and I definitely enjoyed it. After having gotten a chai at another major chain store the day before, the one that we got here was significantly better. We both had breakfast and decided to come back the next day for another. I would highly suggest the Segue breakfast.

Best chai I've had in the Twin Cities! The space is beautiful with lots of room to sit, beautiful art, big windows. The staff are friendly and welcoming, we had a good conversation.
