This place is super open, clean, and inviting. There's a little live music station, to-go fridge, Amazon locker, and the staff are super welcoming. I wasn't very impressed by some of their canned coffees (very off-putting flavors), but the made-to-order drinks were superb. Five Watt always impresses and I go out of my way to find locations.

This Coffee ship gives off great vibes!
It has really good hot chocolate and My Vanilla Latte was great!

The Baristas were friendly and gave us a little history on the building! Which was very intriguing.

The aesthetic was great and it’s a good place to just sit, enjoy your coffee, and study.

This place is obviously blessed!

Whenever I travel for work, I try to find quality craft coffee shops to make my trips a little better and Five Watt definitely didn’t disappoint! The baristas were so friendly, and even though the place was packed and the line was almost out the door (I went on a Saturday at 10:00am) the baristas kept things organized and expedient! The cold press (cold brew) was great and the espresso was pretty good! Not the best I’ve had, but I loved the clarity and brightness of the shot! Coming from Arizona, I loved how well they styled the space and it had an old industrial feel along that didn’t feel too sterile and cold, but instead felt true to the neighborhood and had plenty of local art and trinkets to warm up the space perfectly! I’d definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the neighborhood!

Five Watt knows what they are brewing.

My wife and I like coming to this location because of the available seating. It’s a good place to get work done as well.

Couple things to note:

Parking is a bit hard, especially during a winter emergency.

There are two bathrooms. One on each side!

07/21/2019 I scheduled to meet a friend who had created a piece of art for me. Having never been here I was excited to go to a new Mpls coffee emporium. The atmosphere is very calm & the staff are exceptional.(Shout out to Lydia!) I ordered a delicious cold press coffee & a blueberry scone. I actually ran into 3 acquaintances during my visit! I would highly suggest this comfortable shop for visiting with friends or getting work done.

I have literally never had such a delicious ginger molasses cookie in my life. I mean, the coffee is great and the baristas are amazing too, but that cookie........

They have a really unique approach to their flavor profiles--using bitters and stuff inspired by mixed drinks, and it works really well. They also have a radio station setup in the corner and a lot of airflow in the seating area.
