Five Watt Coffee, E Hennepin

This hidden gem is AMAZING! I don't usually like specialty lattes but I figured I'd try one and it was truly phenomenal!!!!! Service was great too! Can't wait to come back!!!

I really like the coffee and vibe here. Decided to try this one day instead of driving to SpyHouse and I’m so glad I did. Love the local art around the place, love the amble outdoor seating. Not too crowded like many other coffee shops. I tried the Busy Beaver drink my first time there and am obsessed with it now. Spicy & sweet.

One critique, I asked the barista about gluten free options and he clearly had no idea what that meant, but didn’t ask for more information. He mumbled something about different types of almond milk. I asked because I am allergic to gluten and I saw some of the drinks have brownie batter. My suggestion is to train staff on common food allergies, a basic knowledge for the food or beverage industry.

The mochas and hot chocolate here are decadent. They are rich and creamy, it almost feels like drinking nothing at times for how smooth they are. It is clear the baristas know what they are doing, and they are friendly to work with. There is a selection of bakery goods for a nice accompanying snack with your drink, and plenty of comfortable seating options available. Has a good sized parking lot shared with other businesses in the building.

I was there around 5pm today to get a Nitro Cold Brew and wanted to pay by Visa. I don't know why but my Visa kept declining, maybe it's because my Visa is Canadian? Not sure. The lovely associate working the front saw this and we tried several times even with a different CC. After a final try only to get declined again, the associate working the front already had my drink made and told me not worry about it gave me my drink complimentary. I wish I knew her name, I can't thank her enough! Customer service at its finest 👌

Great coffee, friendly baristas, decent amount of seating. The only drawback is the space to wait for drinks is kind of cramped and awkward because you’re standing directly next to people sitting at tables.

Lovely inside and more than enough tables and chairs for fellow 'work from cafe' commuters. Good coffee in a simple mug (which is somehow hard to find lately). A couple more outlets around for those of us who are battery saving challenged would be helpful.

My go-to networking spot! Funky drinks, great accessibility, easy on/off for the freeway.

Great place with a fantastic atmosphere. They were out of all but one dessert which was a disappointment, we were looking forward to getting a couple different things. The coffee and flourless chocolate cake were outstanding.
