I love Kahvila! Can’t stay away. I am a coffee shop lover& this is definitely one of the best I’ve ever been to. I love the organic coffee options& the food is incredible, especially the Loaded Baked Potato pizza. Plus, the staff is always very friendly& they go out of their way to make the experience a pleasant one.

This is the most amazing, fabulous coffee shop I've ever been! Everything we've tried on the menu has been incredible, and the environment is inclusive to all. Kind, friendly faces welcome each visit, and everyone goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience possible. Kahvila is an awesome addition to our small town. You won't regret stopping in!

This was a surprisingly great place to dine in. We had a wide selection of food as I really liked the pulled pork and the sauce on it was delicious. There was equally a wide selection of drinks... and I will definitely be back to experience this newly found gem of a restaurant. What a treat!

We were working Justin Menahga this week and had takeout sandwiches for the guys and myself on four different days. I had a different sandwich each day.
The Italian, the Stepbrother, the Steak and Cheese and the Cuban.
Each one was so delicious and freshly unique in its own way.
Truly a must visit for a sandwich connoisseur.
I will give one warning though, be mindful of your fingers whilst holding your sandwich as not to accidentally bite them off for getting in the way of your next mouthful of gourmet deliciousness!! Mmmm 😋

What a fun experience! This lovely little coffee shop/cafe in a quaint northern Minnesota town should be on your list of places to visit! Coffee, food and hot chocolate are great and the building is a lovingly restored/updated feed store that is the second oldest building in Menahga!

I'm a regular here and this is honestly one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. It's an extremely cost effective place to eat. My favorite breakfast is (or was) a Mcdonalds egg mcmuffin. Well, turns out Kahvila makes what's called a "hammich" and that thing is just awesome. It's fairly similar except it has more of everything with an additional sauce that I can't put a name to and costs I think $4.50. Now an egg mcmuffin at mcdonalds is about $4, but the kicker is Kahvila's "hammich" is twice the size easy and on better bread. So you get 100% more food for only 12.5% more money. Same exact story for their "Brefuss" which is basically a much larger Sausage egg mcmuffin (but with better sausage and cheese) for about $5.50. Again, twice the size and it's WAY better than Mcdonalds for I think $1.50 more. Their time to cook may not be as fast as Mcdonalds, but what they cook there is NOT fast food at all. I would say wait time is about 50-100% longer and that's still pretty fast honestly for the quality they put out. They are much faster than a typical sit in restaurant even though that's what they are. I've been using their drive through for most of my orders but they have a CLEAN sit down modern looking interior. Very high level cooking going on back there with speed to boot. Staff there is always friendly and they tolerate my bad jokes more than they should in my opinion. The menu is pretty big too. A lot of options but I just get the main courses since I'm not much of a coffee guy but they have a nice variety of stuff to pick. They've had one hiccup there where they forgot one of my orders, but that was an easy fix and they said "next one is free" which they honored. I haven't had a single other issue there ever since. Overall, I'd give it an easy 10/10 but I dare say they break the scale and are closer to an 11/10. Seriously people this place is a hidden gem. Can't stress it enough.

A bistro that serves fantastic food. We had the steak sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. They came piled high with meat and had horseradish sauce on the steak sandwich and Carolina Gold sauce on the pulled pork. They were very tasty and real filling. Their pizzas also looked like something we would like. I recommend you stop here and have a bit to eat when you are in the area . You will be very glad that you did.

This is my all time favorite coffee shop. Seriously the. BEST place. Im addicted to the dirty chai teas! Also any of their specialty mochas. I have to get a coffee from here every morning I work! The food is amazing as well. I recommend the bacon, egg and cheese bagel for breakfast. My favorites for lunch are the chicken ceaser wrap, and the Italian sandwich!
Besides the amazing coffee and food, the best part is the owner and staff.. I look so forward to seeing them in the mornings! They will always greet you with a big smile! They make you feel special and kill it at customer service! They take time to say hello. They also have cute little sayings on their coffee cups! It's fun to read.
If you ever have a chance to stop here while your up north , I highly recommend it! You will be so happy you did!

Delicious sandwiches! We had pulled pork sandwich and chicken club that came on an herb flatbread that was soooo good!! Good latte! Pleasant, modern atmosphere! Would definitely go back!!! ❤
We have gone back many times whenever we are in MN. The Blueberry Bacon Grilled Cheese sandwich is a MUST to try. I normally don't eat grilled sandwiches but I get this one most of the time when I go now. I love love love it!!! 5 star sandwich!!

Kahvila is a little diamond in the rough in Menahga. Its a cute little coffee shop with reasonably priced drinks and delicious food. The only issue... food is rarely served as a table and it often comes out dish by dish and can (at times) take quite awhile. Serving food to the entire table within the same fifteen minute window would make this a five star review.
