Love Chef Jeff! We had a great time here and will be visiting again for more special coffee drinks and some food. I haven’t had a better chai latte in my life. He gets real caffeine heads and also has the greatest small selection of antiques- I feel so lucky that my husband and I stopped in here on a whim after a hike at William O’Brien, we will be back just for this cafe! He didn’t mention the fact that we could leave a Google review, this place is just so good we hunted down the web page. THAT GOOD.
This is a diamond in the rough for sure!! Jeff is personable, and his cafe has a great hometown vibe. His baked goods are all homemade and FANTASTIC. The coffee was wonderful and the egg & hash plate he made me was perfectly seasoned and tasty. Don't miss this place!!
Best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. The owner Jeff is super friendly, loved chatting with him. Definitely recommend coming in and checking out all the art and antiques he sells here, many beautiful and unique artifacts.
Chef Jeff is a true coffee connoisseur and a master baker! We drive 20 min regularly to visit his shop. Also browse his selection of fun and funky antiques while you wait for your perfect coffee drink! 🚀💎🙋🏻♂️⭐️🎉
Stopped in to get coffee together and Jeff was SO friendly! They were busy when we got there but he was so kind and gave us a free cookie for waiting, even though we weren’t waiting long at all! Coffee was so great as well! Definitely would recommend!
I really love the iced latte here. I haven't tried the baked goods (scones as I recall), but they look really tasty. Very friendly service. A little pricey, so I won't be able to stop in as much as I'd like - which would be daily.
Great little place, we were greeted by the owner. He went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied, our Egg & Ham “Croix-sant” sandwich and coffees were great! The follow up cookie was unexpectedly fantastic! Thank you for a good morning experience!
Such a cute quant coffee shop. Absolutely worth stopping in at. He made the best iced latte I have ever had! And I have had ALLOT of lattes from ALLOT of different places. It was perfectly balance exactly how he promised it would be! Very friendly and funny owner. Great experience! It’s a must to stop at if you are in the area.
Crispy, yet chewy chocolate chip cookies and the brownies are so good too!! I'm picky, and he's got good stuff. His coffee (at least the Espresso) is from a special slow long roast he orders and it's smooth tasting, lower caffeine and very easy on stomach. His hash (with egg(s) on top) and sandwhiches are also very tasty and satisfying. Fun lower-cost collectible/vintage household items to buy, and how can you beat coffee right next to the St. Croix River? (literally walk 1/2 a block to trail behind general store, and river is about 300 feet away, with nice falls under the main street). Nice town, not commercialized. Really beautiful area and wonderful people there!
We stopped by for coffee on our way up the river. I asked for half-caf coffee, which I know can be a bother, but the guy behind the bar happily made me a hot mug for the road. I appreciated the warm, welcoming atmosphere.
