I wish I lived in town so I could make this my everyday stop. The breakfast croissants are a favorite. Service is fast and staff is courteous. We don't get out there that often but love to make it a stop when we are passing through. Local coffee shops are the best!

I recommend their pesto margarita flatbread and strawberry matcha tea. Both have AMAZING flavor!

I have had problems in the past with items missing in my order. I finally reached out and received a $5 gift card. Which I thought was nice however when I placed on online order today a half hour before closing I arrived at the cafe to find out they turned their oven off and wasn't able to do my order. It would have been nice to at least receive a call.

Been coming here since I was maybe 10 or so years old. Absolutely lovely service, great coffee & food has stayed consistent throughout the past 12 years! My only complaint is the brownies used to taste so much better and they were always soft. Now every time I come through they’re extremely hard— fix this and you’ve got absolute perfection!

Black water is a fabulous go-to cafe spot! The interior is so “small town coffee shop”. I love it! I truly feel at home! We order black water ALL the time. I have never had anything from there that I didn’t absolutely love. My absolute favorite is the Turkey Vermonter. Their coffee is also extremely good. Anytime I run out of coffee I go over and grab some. It’s so good it almost makes me not want to go buy more coffee from the grocery store! Thank you blackwater! For always giving us everything we could ever ask for!

Love that they added the gluten free breakfast sandwich on their online ordering just for me. 💕 well maybe not. But makes me feel special.
Love this place. Wish I could get there more often!

I moved out of town, but still miss my daily visit to Blackwater Cafe. Delicious soup and creative sandwiches. Nice people work there and I enjoyed sipping my coffee or tea by the fireplace in the winter. Walking there from my house was just the right distance for me.

Quick and friendly service. I had the Cuban sandwich it was delicious, would recommend👍 I'd share a photo of it, but it was so good I devoured it. Stop in for a quick, healthy, and good lunch break. The serve breakfast too.

Very underrated little place. I lived down the street from them for a year and...spent more money than I ever have in my life on take-out food. They're a little on the pricy side, and not super speedy with service, but it's really part of the charm. The entire place is cute, cozy, and just a real small town hang-out spot. I would show up and stay for hours "working from home" on school snow days, and it was just a lovely experience.

$20 for 2 small sandwiches and Diet Coke (12oz)
first sandwich combo got bag chips instead of apple slices ( can't read apparently) the chips they offer are salty garbage by the way...
Second sandwich(breakfast sandwich) was missing the cheese.
And handed a warm diet coke..... for $20

Gave this place a few tries.... little value for food you get and service is lacking.... will not be back.
