Not much to look at, but the food is pretty good! The burger maybe a tad overdone, but the fried onions on the burger were done just right. They were very busy but the server was friendly. The burger buns were delicious! Very soft and nice! Liked the crinkle cut fries. Thick cut onion rings maybe over fried, but nicely crispy. Worth a stop for the pie! Good flavor!

Excellent pie. We had the sour cream raisin and the banana cream and they were both outstanding. The dam burger was good, but it was so thick that it kept wanting to roll off the bun. The service was exceptional. Everyone there was notably friendly.

Really cool little spot. We just had desert but the Milk shakes were great. Great spot for a family outing with the Dam and park very close.

Quaint little place that we stopped at on our Motorcycles with a group of friends. There is a large Dam & covered Park bench area right in with this little restaurant (old fashioned store). The Burgers π fries & malts were delicious.

Pie, shake, food and beverage biking destination 10 miles out of Mankato on the shaded Red Jacket bike trail. 2 miles west of Rapidan on a country road. By park, picnic tables, campground and hydro-dam.

Cute little cafe with the sweetest owner. My hamburger tasted just like the way my mom made them. π The pie selection was amazing. Get yourself out here and try it out. Bring cash! Canβt wait to bring family here when they visit. There is a playground across the street for young kids to play.

Great little place. The milkshakes and burger baskets have always been my favourite. Summer picnics with the kids at the park there and also camping.

Who wouldn't love a beautiful country drive to an authentic 1950's mom n' pop shop that serves homemade pie by a river dam?!!πππ°

I was excited to visit even though I wasn't super hungry. I got a dam shake and it was awful. Old, freezer-burnt ice cream with no flavor. My wife got some dam pie and it was decent. The service was melancholy, and the vibe was just depressing. I'd try it again and get a burger with a side of onion rings.

The place has bygone era charm. A small eatery out in the country, it has some appeal if you like that sort of thing. The food was ok. Nothing special. The pies are very good. Service was horrible. I stood at the register waiting to pay for 7 minutes. Every single employee walked by me and smiled, but I still had to wait. They only accept cash or local checks. The pie and the milkshakes are the best part.
