Hill Lake Cafe Hill

Stuffed hasbrowns are one of my favorite meals to get up north and this cafe definitely served up delicious food. Will stop here again next time we are in the area and you should too.

Left with a full stomach, fully-caffeinated, a smile, and considering next time I visit what I might order from among the many breakfast specials. I mean, the ingredients seem "Sysco-sourced" for the most part but elevated higher than should be possible. I ordered the Wheel Deal (pictured). I also never saw the bottom of my coffee mug. Great little dinner.

I've never had a bad experience here, the food has always been great, never had to ask for coffee, and if you leave hungry it's your own fault! That said, ive known the owner since kid hood, grew up together in North Minneapolis. Family owned and operated with the recipes I grew up with quite literally. I'm a bit biased but also painfully honest, as they've always known. You'll never have a bad experience here.

Awesome place. In the area heading past it just taking time to take a drive for great breakfast or lunch you will be happy you did. Food is outstanding, service is great. Your home cooked meals of comfort food. Love this place and worth the drive

NO SERVICE ANIMALS ALLOWED! SMH! was refused service! Didn't even get into the place before I was sent away!

We were on vacation in Hill City and stopped here for breakfast! The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly!

I am so glad I ordered the Rueben Sandwich. It comes with chips but I ordered fries for 1.75. So mouthwatering! Best I ever had!! My husband loved his Denver Sandwich as well!!

We would have loved to have breakfast here. We were traveling from California with my husband's service dog and she didn't let us come in even though he was contained in a stroller. They asked for papers and I didn't have them on me. It is illegal to ask anyone for documentation about a disability. They need to do their research!!

Stopped in for a late brunch and were so incredibly pleased! The eggs Benedict was one of the best I've ever had, served on top of crispy hash-browns, YUM😋. My son had blueberry pancakes that were incredible. They tasted like a cross between a blueberry muffin and Angel Food Cake with blueberries, and that was WITHOUT syrup. SO GOOD.

And our waitress was literally the best, hands down.

We can't wait for our next trip to the area so we can stop in the Hill Lake Cafe!
