Kodiak Coffee

Great independent coffee shop! Convenient drive-thru (you have to enter from the back) and great service! They had more syrup flavors than any coffee shop I've ever been to. I got a butterscotch mocha with whip cream and it was so good.

I am a huge advocate of local business, so I’ve waited a long time (several years) to give a review because I wanted them to have full benefit of the doubt.

Customer service has really improved since I first started trying them out 👏 I would rate the people on my last visit a 5/5. The atmosphere and coffee, not so much. I’m a serious coffee lover, and their espresso doesn’t hit the mark. It’s really light and acidic, rather than bold and smooth like espresso should be. The apple fritter is decent but tastes exactly like the fritters at Kwik Trip, except $4 more expensive. However I recently tried their cold press and was pleasantly surprised, very good!

All in all, I will continue to give it the occasional visit, but it hasn’t earned any loyalty from me.

This place is wonderful. Nice little private coffee shop. The staff were very inviting, the merchandise is great, and the coffee is awesome. If you’re looking to support your local businesses in Forest Lake, I’d recommend starting here.

Friendly staff, amazing coffee. Kodiak always has a wide selection of bakery items, along with sandwiches and soup. Cozy atmosphere, I could sit here all day (and sometimes I do)!

This shop is so amazing and definitely worth the drive! The Italian Sodas are so great and start to fizz when you put ice in them, which is fun! Their mango smoothies are my favorite, but all of their smoothies are delicious. My Mom always gets her coffee from there. They rarely mess up your order. The shop is so clean and the staff are so kind. There are even little fridge magnets and souvenirs you can by from there for cheap! Please visit!

Super sunny and pleasant spot. Friendly staff. Good lattes and pastries. Didn't utilize it this time because parking was a cinch out front and Dad could stay with the kids, but I love that they have a drive thru.

Moved up from South Minnie to Forest Lake 2 years ago, and our family was so happy to find a great local coffee shop that rivals old haunts. Delicious hot coffee for mom & dad, exceptional blueberry muffins & cocoa for the boy, speedy friendly coffee-shop service, and even a dog bone for the pup-do in the drive-thru. There is no Dunn Bros in this town, which is the only chain I’d go to anyway, but I’d skip that for this. We 💜 It.

I stumbled upon this shop while waiting for my car to be fixed and I can say that it is easily one of the best coffee shops I have ever been to. The employees are extremely friendly, the customer service is exceptional (they will tailor their coffee exactly how you like it), and the food and drinks are among the best in the twin cities area.

I definitely recommend going to this place if you're anywhere near Forest Lake!
