Coffeesmith

This coffee shop is beautiful on the inside, this has always been one of my favorite houses in Forest Lake so it was nice to see it come alive. The coffee here is amazing and the staff are great too.

Great coffee shop! They have moved inside now it is very nice. Great music and coffee. Nothing else like it in Forest Lake. Would definitely recommend.

Drinks were great! (One hot and one cold.) Great change from the franchise/ corporate coffee spots! These ppl take great pride in what and how they serve their beverages!

I'm not a fan of the big coffee companies. I would much rather support the local small businesses.

Best coffee in Forest Lake! Lots of local charm & is a great spot to unplug, have a chat with a friend, or hang out with family.

Not so great if you are looking to study or work, & there was no indoor seating or WiFi yet.

Stopped for coffee and I have to say the coffee was amazing! I loved the wrap around porch which set for a cultivating atmosphere. The owner , Calvin and his workers were so friendly. If you haven’t been there you are missing out on a local specialty coffee shop! I loved it!

The espresso or whatever was in the latte I had here was so good I was thinking about it well after I finished it...I'd even consider drinking it in decaf it was so damn good. Starbucks who? Ruined! Love this place, not to mention the house it's in is amazing.

Hubby and I prefer to support local businesses, but we and our daughter were unimpressed with the lacklustre beverages we received today. Hubby's black coffee and my chai tea were weak--dishwater, so to speak. Our daughter's iced caramel macchiato tasted "like milk with a bit of burnt-tasting caramel flavoring." A staff member made a comment to hubby about new equipment, so he thinks that this might have contributed to how our drinks turned out.

Since it's a relatively new business, we'll give Coffee Smith another shot after they've had a chance to get into the groove. Then, I'll update my review.

The best coffee I have ever had! Great service with relaxing feel inside or outside on the deck of the historical forest lake house. A+
