One of the best meals I've ever eaten! The beet and feta cheese salad was the best thing I've ever tasted. Pizza and seafood mac-n-cheese were out of this world. The restaurant smelled of delicious coffee and had a nice urban vibe. Excellent service and great prices. A true gem!

Our new favorite place for drinks and food. The Charlee whiskey coffee was great. Service was good as well.

Have been here 3 times. Food and baked goods are great. First 2 times service was great. 3rd time service very poor. Waited 45 minutes for our food after ordering. So asked 2 different servers about the wait and they were clueless. Our waitress continued to work the bakery section without checking on our food. After seeing another table that came in 10 minutes after us get served, we left and ate somewhere else. Maybe short handed,? No on came to apologize for the delay. Place was crowded but not full.

An interesting menu that takes a little daring to try, but you should. We agreed that the Reubens were the best we’d eaten in years!
The ambiance is nice, and the service is top-drawer.

Food was good but a little expensive for the type of food. $14 for a French dip. Waitress was nice enough but getting our food was ridiculously slow. Tried to order a salad with quinoa, waitress said there wasn't any prepared and we'd have to wait 20 minutes so they could make more and suggested we order something else. We were there on a Monday late afternoon and it wasn't that busy. Long wait for the appetizer to arrive. Almost 20 minutes for dessert which was a brownie with some ice cream on it. We actually ended up telling them to forget the dessert because we had to go. No apology from the waitress either. Not really impressed with the experience and really no desire to go back to try their coffee bar.

What a terrible experience, terrible service, rude servers, the Reuben was TERRIBLE!! If you’re visiting I would go to Brygge’s down the street. The employees at ROASTED PUB were beyond rude, ignored us… I’ve been a server for 12 years, these people were intentionally rude for no reason..

This is my favorite restaurant/cafe in the DL area! They have excellent food and service, both of which have really improved in recent years. If you dismissed this place after a meal several years back, give it another try! I love the Portobello mushroom sandwich and bison burger, but they also have amazing weekly specials and a fun cocktail list. They tend to be less busy than restaurants down by the lake--I've never had to wait to be seated. They now have outdoor seating, too. Plus the cafe has amazing coffee and pastries. A must-try in DL!

One of our favorite places to eat in Detroit Lakes. Their unique, and different menu is what we love the most, and in my opinion, is what sets them apart from others in town! Their menu options are always fresh and they often have weekend, specialty menu items, which are always fantastic! I cannot suggest this place enough!

3 visits and every time the food and service had been superb! Wonderful menu choices for all, bakery items are fab, the untamed Chardonnay is delish! Thank you for offering such a wonderful menu including vegetarian. Environmentally conscious staff and establishment!

Delightfully surprised to get such fabulous food on our stop in Detroit Lakes. We had the 6 minute egg piadine [flatbread) and the special - Mahnomen Porridge with wild rice, coconut milk, cinnamon cherry chutney, coco candied hazelnuts, smoked salmon and maple creme fraiche. The flavors were amazing!
