The Grounds on the Green

Staff was friendly, great atmosphere, grilled cheese sandwich, flatbread pizza, and the frappes are good. I'm disappointed with the great variances of quality of food and drinks. I ordered hot chocolate for the first time one day expected it to be watery, but decided to try it pleasantly to my surprise it had a rich flavor I was really satisfied with it. I came back a few days later, thinking I would get the same rich and flavorful hot chocolate I was in for a not so pleasant suprise it was watery and not flavorful at all. I wish staff would have consistency on how they make items

The Thai chicken wrap is delicious, even has a little spice to it! I love the atmosphere and the view of the (presently snowy) golf course out the windows. Great place to hang out and chat!

Adjoining the golf course clubhouse, The Grounds coffee shop and café is a great place for meeting up and hanging out with its relaxed, small-town atmosphere with large windows overlooking the course. Fresh sandwiches and wraps come with kettle chips if you order to eat in, and a bag of regular Lays if you are taking it to go. They also offer salads and hand made pizzas. They typically close at 5 or before, so dinner isn't really an option. The parking lot is long and relatively narrow. I haven't ever seen it packed out. The atmosphere is a little grown up for kids, but they can be accommodated. I have heard rumors that there is a downstairs lobby, too.

The cold-press is drinkable, but I think their brewed coffee is a little lower-quality than what you can find at a gas station. (Additionally, it tastes like they use unfiltered tap water!) Maybe also figure out a better brand of beans that doesn't taste worse than Folgers?
I think all the high reviews are because of flavored drinks and lunch selections (which I haven't tried), but I generally rate a COFFEE shop on it's actual COFFEE

Good little spot for a quick lunch. There aren't many options in Cokato for lunch and this place is quite the surprise. I had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. It was very tasty and came with chips and a pickle. Soft bread made this sandwich memorable. I will certainly be going back when I am in the area.

The Grounds has delicious breakfast sandwiches AND tasty specialty coffees, something I really appreciate! If you're there around lunchtime they have a nice variety of salads, wraps, and sandwiches. The staff is friendly and serves you with a smile!

Incredible, albatross drink! And the burrito was delicious. The pasties were yummy. Friendly waitresses and clean cozy place.

Very pleasant people working here. Clean place with a bigger food and coffee menu selection than you would expect. The atmosphere is well suited for professional or casual lunches.

Good food, I had the clam chowder. Coffee is ok. Atmosphere is very cold and sterile. Most coffee shops are cozy and make you want to linger.
