Paid $8 for a coconut milk “latte” that had no coffee in it, even though I asked for TWO extra espresso shots. It was just hot (dairy) milk. No coffee, no coconut. The smoothies here are AMAZING, and the food is good, but coffee is not this company’s strength. Regularly dissatisfied with all the locations I’ve been at when buying coffees. Perhaps the coffee itself is just not great. Or maybe I have constant bad luck and it’s wrong time, wrong place. HOWEVER, always great customer service and very kind employees, the milk was just a rather large blunder. Perhaps the company should review their training, policies, and/or pay rates, because the employees at seemingly all locations are eager to learn, and are very nice people, but seem to be poorly equipped to execute their work.
The staff is super friendly and always so amazing! Our food and drinks are always awesome and if they do make a tiny mistake or forget something they are on top of it! Worth the money. Highly recommend the strawberry smoothie, spicy breakfast wrap, and any coffee drink!
Place order by incident. I was at Austin to order some coffee and cookies for me and my friends. Forgot to change location. Don’t know how to cancel it. Took out my money without getting the order. And when I call to refund it. They said it going to take up to 48 hours for a refund. 2 days later. Never received my money back. Call again and they told me they going to ask their manager to call me back and never received a phone call.
We have now tried scooters twice, and only because our regular shop is closed on Sundays. Disappointing both times, and a waste of money. My hot peppermint mocha was cold and definitely was just hot chocolate. No hint of coffee whatsoever. Which would have been fine if it was at least hot. My husband's red bull drink was watered down and not even worth drinking. My 3 year old daughter's children's hot chocolate was so hot she burned her mouth. Even after I specifically asked for it to be cooler or have ice added to it to make it safe. I'm an avid coffee drinker, and I will not be wasting my money here again.
Three times I've gone here, and MY drink has consistently been incorrect. My girlfriend's drink however is always good, according to her (she only gets smoothies). Coffee drinks at a coffee shop not being correct any given time I've gone, means Scooter's COFFEE is likely not going to stick around long...
Update (2023-03-02): Ordered a white mocha, oat milk, extra hot. 1. I didn't get Oat Milk. 2. It wasn't extra anything except expensive, since they used Dairy in my drink.
I won't be returning. This is my fourth poor experience, with two interactions with employees expressing my concerns. I don't know if the messages never reach management, or what...but it's very upsetting to spend $6± an item, if it won't be made the way I order it. That's sort of the point of me spending 4 times the amount than if I'd just made it at home myself.
Update (2023-04-14): I didn't stop in, but my girlfriend did, and my drink wasn't even what she ordered. She never gets receipts, but she orders the same drink every time (it's on her phone) and for whatever reason...it just doesn't come out right. I'm very sad to LOVE coffee and never enjoy it from here, since it's so convenient...
I love the coffee! I’ve been there 4 times and my only complaint is that I have the app and it has a scan system to it. Are they supposed to ask me if I have the app and scan it for “points” or is that just not a legit thing?! The 4 times I’ve been there I was never asked so I feel like if that is something I was supposed to have scanned I got jipped 4 times.
Really want to like this place. Two out of two times my iced Americano does not have ice in it when it was handed to me. I was told there was ice in it and that it's already melted when I questioned it this time. Asked for a cup of ice that was bigger than my drink so I could pour my (already room temp) coffee over it - they wanted to charge me for the ice and cup. Ended up giving me a small cup of ice (for free) for my medium drink so obviously that didn't work. So basically I have watered down espresso that I had to split into two cups when I got home if I wanted it to actually be iced. After trying it, it appears that they may have missed an espresso shot - I cannot taste any coffee flavor in this. 😡🫤
When I pulled up to the drive-thru window the girl opened it and when I looked she was on her phone texting. She kept typing for a few seconds before taking my payment followed by typing more before swiping my card. The wait for my drink was thankfully very short but the gal gave me the wrong drink and then closed the window right away. At least it was still one of the flavors my cousin enjoys who I ordered it for but still… I don’t feel this level of customer experience is up to par by any means
Absolutely love scooters, beats out any of the other coffee makers bar none been there enough the girls know me as soon as I pull in they're Pleasant cheerful and go out of their way for their service. Won't go to anybody else
Ordered small plain coffee. Coffee tasted like foldgers ,bitter and burnt. Coffee was 2.86 a premium price. Place is convenient to get in and out. Staff seemed like they really DON'T want to be there. My first trip and my last.
