Maike's Bakery & Pizza

Mmmmm Maikes some good donuts, cookies, brownies, pizzas, subs. Everything is awesome!!!!

Order food last night and the fries we ordered with our burgers and hot dogs was hard as a rock nobody could eat them. So just a heads up everyone don't order fries from there.
We picked our food up at closing time and I was told the girl who cooked our fries was on her cell phone and forgot about them.

I love this place. Food is good, baked goods are even better, and you can get your computer fixed while you're there!

There was a very long wait. I ordered 2 pizzas, and was told it would be 30 min. Considering I had to get fuel and milk while I waited I found this was acceptable.
How ever my wait turned into and hour. However once the owner noticed I was sitting there for a while he did light a fire under he's crew.
The taste was ok at best. They have a lot of potential but they should think about adding flavor to there crust. Very bland the toppings were fresh so that was a nice surprise.

Update:
Once my google account alerted me to a comment on my post I have to say I was thrilled to see it was the owner/ manager.
Why? Because that means they actually read there costumers comments....... That was until I read the response. While suggesting a different option to make your experience better is great. I would have liked to have known about the option when I ordered my pizza. In addition saying that there team gave me the wrong wait time after there crew insisted that they got "slammed" which slowed them down and then to have the responder turn around, and say they told me the wrong wait time. starts to sound like a list of excuses.
I mean if your costumer says they enjoyed there meal, but there was only a slight issue or critique. Making a new suggestion they may not be aware of is GREAT. But then leave it there and take strides to improve the service for the next time.

At any rate I have been back "before there response was posted"
And tried my order again. This time very short wait time. How ever the crust still lacked any complimentary flavor. I just wish they would advertise more that they have a different crust option, in doing so I believe more people would order it. I'm not saying the people don't know it's an option. But I feel it must be in only listed one place, Rather then the 3 options they have showing the types of food they have for sale in side the restaurant.
Looking forward to the next time I visit and to see what further improvements they've made.

The food is subs and salads are delicious. The half salad is bigger than most restaurants full salad... Very fairly priced too. Highly recommend this place to anyone passing through.

I go out of my way to support local small businesses and have been to this one a few times and have always left wondering how you could mess up something so simple EVERY TIME.

Ordered for delivery and was told it would be 40-45 minutes. I waited 50 minutes before calling back. In part to find out where our food was but also to make sure delivery guy didn't get lost. I was told my food just got done and the guy was picking it up. So I continued to wait. 30 minutes passed and I decided to call again the lady on the phone seemed annoyed when I asked and said she just gave the food to the delivery guy 6 mins before. My house is 10 minutes from their store. 15 minutes later the food finally showed up. I never write these but the food is good just not the delivery. I hope they do better in the future.

Awesome people great food n pastry

The items are always fresh. The service is very friendly and handles your purchases with care. The building is kept clean and they offer internet as well. My suggestion (for the most options to choose from)... Arrive early in the morning!! People love the items this bakery sells and the supply sells out rather quickly! Well worth getting up a little earlier to maximize your options!!
