I had a first date with my now fiance at this place. We talked for over 3 hours and it was perfect. The food is pretty good, mostly breakfast type or muffin type. I had the blue berry muffin.

Brit and Jill are the best baristas on the planet. Love the vibe behind all they do and stand for. ✌🏻

Been going here between classes for about a year and a half now and I love this place! Everyone is always so sweet and the coffee is super tasty. Always a good place to stress study!

Excellent service! The staff is kind and welcoming and the have a nice variety. The atmosphere is comfortable. I had hot chocolate and a sugar plum, both were very good (and fancy!) The bathrooms are shared with the multi use building and are always clean. Parking is in front of and behind the building in free lots and free street parallel.

We absolutely loved this place. We came across from Milwaukee without knowing that Muskegon would be mostly closed on a Sunday. We hung out at Aldea most of an afternoon waiting for the ferry back. The staff were friendly and the coffee shop was happening. When it came time for our ferry back, there were no taxis or Uber cars. We were a little panicked. Patrick, a barista there kindly offered to drive us to the ferry landing when his shift was over. What a knight in shining armor!
Aldea is awesome and an absolute highlight of any trip to Muskegon. This is the right kind of business with great ethics.

Awesome shop! Winey, tangy, cedary espresso, stunning interior, good seating and outlet options, good parking, and cheerful staff. Located in the upstairs of the Northtown 794 building.

Great atmosphere. Dog friendly on the patio. Coffee and Matcha are high end. Building is well renovated. Typical food and beverages expected of a high end coffee shop. Beans and coffee hardware available as well. Will definitely be back.

This is a beautiful space with delicious coffee and specialty drinks. Using coffee grown by Honduran farmers and roasted here in Muskegon Heights, Aldea has made a commitment to sell, train and teach the Honduran farmers to produce high quality specialty coffee and pays them above fair trade prices for their crops, thus investing in their wellbeing and communities. I have personally traveled to Honduras and met 3 of these farmers and can attest to their commitment to this community as well as to being a part of the growing Muskegon downtown. Highly recommended.

This was my second time at Aldea and I was impressed both times. The Cascara lemonade is very delicious. To me, it tastes almost like Acai lemonade. The muffin was an Apple Cinnamon muffin. It was very flavorful and very moist all the way to the last bite.
