Ponder Coffee Company - Downtown

This little coffee shop is AMAZING! Hands down best latte (seasonal options), muffins are fabulous and made fresh each morning! I wish we had a little place like this where we live! I totally recommend this to anyone, my husband got a grilled sandwich and loved it! My child and I, stuffed ourselves on their caramel apple waffles and peanut butter banana waffles! Whip cream also homemade! I just could go on & on!

Fantastic staff. Great waffles and REAL strawberry lemonade can be hard to find however it seems they do everything the classic way! Even the matcha/green tea was prepared in the proper way. Very accommodating as I stayed several hours waiting for my ride. If you are looking for a good place to grab a bite to eat and any sort of drink, COME TO PONDER COFFEE!!!

The food was delicious. The matcha tea latte with almond milk was wonderful. Many places make it really sweet, but here it was just the matcha that was great. Not sweet but just right.

The interior of this location is beautiful with more nuance than the other, it’s more intimate and more suitable for an isolated retreat or even a romantic lunch. They serve what I consider the best breakfast in Mt. Pleasant with a limited menu that keeps things simple. My favorite is the breakfast burrito with salsa, but the waffles are delicious if you’re looking for something a bit more sweet and delectable. The staff is always friendly and prompt, keeping wait times to a minimum and are always the example of professional that I’d want set for my own employees. 10/10, 5 Stars, if you’re passing through stop in for a Caramel latte or grab one to go!

Get a waffle. You will not be disappointed. I mean the coffee is great as well, but the waffles are what keeps my family coming back.

best coffee place in mount p. they have options for poor people like me and some fancier stuff that i’ll try on occasion. They also do the thing with the cream where it looks like a leaf on the coffee and i love it. Try the snickerdoodle cookie.

Good coffee, helpful staff. We got the avo and eggs on toast which was good. Saw someone else who got waffles which looked incredible, definitely want to try those next time. Seating is outside only with fire pits, only 3 tables so seating is limited. Overall a pleasant experience.

We've been going here since almost Day 1 and it is still awesome. This is HANDS DOWN the best coffee in Mount Pleasant. The owners of the place care about what they do, the coffee they make and the people that come in the door. We get both hot and cold drinks, waffles, sandwiches, and whole bean coffee. Great place to grab a coffee and go or spend a few hours working. Love this place and I'm grateful it exists every time I go in.
