We were traveling with friends in the area and googled somewhere to eat breakfast. So pleased we choose Cedar Street Cafe. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I chose the french toast with the vanilla bean sauce. It was the best I've ever had.

Awesome breakfast menu. Selection of omelets and my favorite biscuits and gravy with super tasty white sausage gravy and your choice of meat and eggs on top of the biscuits if desired, then completely smoothered in a ton of the previously mentioned gravy! Large servings! They have a great coffee shop inside also! Neg. is the limited hours i e. 8am to 2pm.

Fantastic hometown eatery with homemade style cooking/food. Trolls, a must stop passing thru. U.P. Locals you already know ❤️

I'll NEVER go to Cedar Street Cafe again. 😡 My daughter called them ahead of time to arrange having a small birthday party for her daughter and offered to pay or rent the space or tables used. The employee she talked to said yes, and agreed and said it was ok. Then the day of the party, we got there with our guests and were told by the same employee that no we couldn't do that there! They had a completely EMPTY and UNUSED section of tables in the back room, in the back dinning area. We asked to use it and were told "no". Even though my daughter had gotten their agreement by phone in advance. There was no room for it in the front of the building as it's a very small, cramped place.
~So then we had to find another place on the day and time of the party... and change the location which had been put on the invitations, at the last minute, contact all the guests parents to tell them where we would be etc.
~ Thankfully a nearby restaurant gave us permission to have her party there. They were a LOT more friendly, helpful and nice. That is the restaurant that will get our business from now on!

Absolutely delicious! The Monte Cristo was yummy! My kids chowed the French toast! The parmesan garlic fries were amazing! Wish this place had a location in the LP!

Super nice wait staff. We had a beginning omelet that was delicious. My spouse and I shared the meal but were still not able to eat everything. The decor makes for a pleasant atmosphere.

The breakfast was great! We had a sticky bun and omelettes. The sticky bun home made caramel sauce still haunts me. Entire staff was friendly and attentive. Coffee was great (even the decaf).
Coffees for the road were and extra charge that we paid gladly.
