their pastries are amazing!! the avalanche croissant was better than any chocolate croissant i had in france and they have a ton of creative options!! they also have a lot of fun coffee flavors you don’t see elsewhere, would highly recommend!!

Delicious sweets and ice cream! This is a great place to pick up a box of cake slices, large cookies or other pastries to take as a gift when visiting. They are not cheap, but they are homemade and so beautiful. A delightful splurge.
There's also umbrella seating outside for nice summer days.
Sometimes the parking lot is full, but it's worth it to park on the side street off of Hix a little to the north and walk over.

Great coffee! Super cute shop, well done outdoor seating. Easily the nicest coffee spot in Livonia. Wish it was here when I went to Churchill Highschool with how close it it.

Such an amazing relaxing atmosphere with great service. Weekends always full house. Little hidden gem.

C&C is not for me. My first and only experience. Savory baked options had wierd taste and texture, had to threw them away. The sweet baked options were ok. The lemon bar was the only reasonably good buy. Staff took someone's order that arrive a few minutes after I did. That's bottom Barrel staff AND clientele lol, who doesnt ask if youre in line... Noone is perfect I guess, or considerate. So, go get a lemon bar and see for yourself, or don't. You're call.

Gorgeous place! I recommend everyone coming in and trying this place. High quality ingredients and service that matched it. Great options for everyone.

Terrible parking and unfriendly staff.
We had heard good things about the cafe and decided to try it. It is very busy, so you might arrive--as we did--during a busy wave of customers and have nowhere to park. The parking lot might not accommodate the traffic during a busy period. It was frustrating. The cafe has a nice-looking selection of drinks and desserts. We ordered a scone and a piece of blueberry cheesecake. Both were tasty, but nothing spectacular beyond other places. I had ordered 3 other desserts to take home to family which I asked for them to hold while we enjoyed our coffee and dessert. I was not given a receipt--even though I had pushed "print" receipt. I didn't think it was a big deal...until it was time to pick up my (previously paid for) desserts and was handed 2 pieces of cheesecake. My friend and I both told the young lady working there that we had ordered 3 desserts and was very specific about them when she initially rang up our bill totaling around $32 with tip--as I had added 18% when I first paid. She insisted that I had only ordered 2 pieces to take home. I hadn't been given a receipt and, frankly, didn't feel like arguing or calling for the manager.
I wouldn't have minded someone admitting they made a mistake--or pulling up my receipt to show us either way. It could still have been a decent experience except for the fact that the young woman who first helped us--and then rudely told us that I had only ordered 2 desserts to take home--had been unfriendly and "put out" from the moment we entered the cafe. There was a line of about 5 people. Not a big deal. But, she was rude from the start and rude with every interaction. The young man who made our latte and coffee was also very abrupt. There was no "Hello--how can I help you?" Nothing friendly. It felt like all of us customers were an annoyance to the workers there which made paying premium prices for coffee and dessert a terrible experience.
The desserts were tasty enough. Nothing special, but nice enough had the service been pleasant.

We loved this place because of the vegan coffee and the gluten free food options. And the coffee was ALWAYS consistently good. The last three times I have been in there the coffee tasted HORRIBLE! The espresso was watered down and burnt tasting and the mocha had so much chocolate in it that it was basically a cup of mocha syrup with the same burnt espresso. I think we will be finding a new coffee place because I am not spending $12 on coffee I just throw away. They need Kris to train everyone on espresso and coffee. He made us the best coffee everytime and is a wholesome and positive personal overall. Please clone Kris!

Great place, but A/C was too cold, coffee was okay, the pastries were amazing however. Make sure your barista really knows how to make proper coffee and you will succeed! Didn't try the ice-cream but it did look amazing.

I don't typically leave the city for coffee. But they have an excellent selection of pour over, woth great variety in favor profiles.
Watch out for the pastries, they are so amazingly good.
The owner is kind and always greets you with a smile. Very welcoming environment.
