HEALTH WARNING: Do not bring little kids.
The coffee and service were very good here, however, there appear to be some serious health concerns here.
Most of the tables in the shop were old wooden doors with a piece of glass on top of them. Unfortunately, underneath the glass is what looks to me (after 3 years experience as a professional painter) as loose lead paint. There is also some of this paint exposed around the edges of the table were the glass covering is not present.
For adults this is a minor risk, but for small children or those with them at home, loose chips of lead paint can cause neurological damage. Little kids like to pick at loose paint, and so the furniture is a dangerous temptation for any children who happen to visit.
Hopefully I was mistaken (as I did not bring a lead paint test with me) and there are probably not many little kids visiting here, but this is a serious health oversight.

Comfy atmosphere, high ceilings, quiet interiors make it easy to focus on work / reading. They have a more secluded seating area in the back which is really nice.
