We stopped for lunch and are so happy we did. The staff was amazing and the food was even better. A wonderful local cafe!

The prices are so low! Good chili & good breakfast choices. Here you get real, hearty sausage links not those skinny links. Wonderful service with a smile too! I wish we had a Pines Cafe in our neck of the woods (Fox Point, WI). Thank you for your hospitality!

The very best hospitality and food 👍😀 We ate here every morning while we were on our winter trip to the UP. Outstanding food and the staff were so friendly and outgoing!

I'm a punk rock kinda dude so I've got a battle jacket with studs on the shoulder. I tend to get looks when I walk into public places, and thats completely fine. But today immediately, I was treated very unkind. The owner approached me and instantly began to hassle me about the spikes on my shoulders and then asked that I not poke a hole in her pleather backed booth stool. I initially though she was just joking with me, and I get that, however she then proceeded to inform me that she would make me pay 400 dollars to replace it had I punctured a hole. Not a customer service attitude. Place has pretty good food, but I won't be going back as I felt I was discriminated against for my appearance. I'm a very polite guy I've been told, so that ill-treatment was uncalled for.

Best breakfast n lunch u will ever have stop in n take a bite of all the delicious things they have to offer it puts a smile on my face everytime I eat there.

Cheesy potato soup was smooth, just enough cheese flavor and bits of ham(could use more ham) and lots of broccoli. They used marbled rye for the party melt, giving the sandwich a nice crispy crust. Carmelized red onion was a nice change of pace.

I have battled cancer for 5 years. Thanks to them & the awesome food, I'm gaining weight. Keep up the great work.

This is a really good and unique breakfast place. It's got some really good locally inspired dishes. I did have a bad steak here once so I wouldn't recommend that, but all the breakfast stuff is amazing. Haven't had a bad time here eating anything on their breakfast menu

Great place to go if you're on a low calorie diet. Portions are very small. My fork bent as I was using it. Silverware is the chinsiest I've ever seen. This place could easily be 5 stars if they took plastic and fixed the other deficiencies. Good lighting and service
