The Victorian Cafe

This is a nice up scale place to visit. I have been here many times and have never had a bad experience. If you are visiting Hale I strongly suggest you try it. From frozen treats like soft serve, hand dip, blended shakes, smoothies, too hot coffee, ice coffee, lattes and more. You will 💘 it!

I stopped in there for a real chocolate malt. I told the young lady what I wanted. Not chocolate milk that places call a malted. But the deal. By golly it was awesome. Be back for sure.

I usually go there for an iced mocha but the menu is DELICIOUS. whether you are going for lunch or taking the kids for ice cream, the service is great and friendly. You will have a good time. (Very clean)

Absolute BEST place in Hale! Staff is excellent, food is spectacular, and ice cream selection is top-notch. We stop here every time we visit family in Hale (about 6 times a year). Our kids love it!

Great tourist attraction with yummy ice creams. Nice employees, free internet, and souvenirs make it worth while to stop in.

Waited in line for drive-thru for about a half hour. They made us pull forward and wait for our food. Then in comes a tractor load full of people, 10 minutes later they all walk out with their orders and we’re still waiting for our food. Someone finally comes out to give us our food and of course it was cold. Very disappointing. You’re supposed to help the customers as they come, not make some wait so you can help new ones

The people who work here are extremely nice, the coffee is very good and the place itself is really cute, they always have the outside decorated depending on the time of year, it feels very homey. A place you must stop by whether you're just passing through or are from the Hale area yourself!

I had a panini Reuben and my husband had the BLT. Both were very good. We treated ourselves to a dish of ice cream, as well. Everything was very very good. The place is so cute and quaint with the Victorian atmosphere. We will be back again.

Been coming here for years for ice cream
while at the lake. Have also enjoyed the panini’s with a pickle, especially the chicken salad panini. Their shakes are great, and they can turn any ice cream into a shake. Cozy place with wifi for studying or just hanging out.

The ice cream in a waffle cone was very good. We didn't have anything else but with it being a holiday weekend it was very busy.
