Charlie's Country Corner

Everything's pretty good, for the most part, but that wifi is awful. It takes 70900 hours of this wifi to do what my budget home wifi network does in one second. Surely they can do better.

I love this Truck Stop! It has everything! There is an Arby’s inside, there are all sorts of choices of water to beer(don’t drink and drive!) there is all sorts of food choices and the coffee oh the coffee is always fresh and good!!! You can get phone chargers, truck parts, gloves, hats, snacks and other doodads that you thought you never would need or find and they have it!!! Oh yeah they sell Marathon gas and diesel! There is even a hotel across the road!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and well maintained. They offer trailer parking with plenty of room to pull around. They have ample parking for trailers with plenty of room to check your tires. If you should need air they offer it for free. We also ate at the attached Arby’s. The staff there were also very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The food was good Arby’s food. We liked it enough we saved it for our future trips to the UP.

They have a dump station and easy in gas up for RVs, gas was .06¢ more expensive than up the road. Worth it for us since I was towing though.

I don't get to Michigan that often , but I stopped at Charlie's because it was in my truck stop locator. I'm glad I stopped in the place was very clean had a big paved parking lot without big pot holes. The ladies in the store were very nice and professional and the store and restroom were very clean. I marked this as a very good stop in my truck stop locator and the next time I'm up this way I'll be sure to stop it. There isn't to many truck stops around like this anymore. Thanks Charlie's Country Corner for treating truck drivers with respect ,it is very much appreciated.

One star for truck parking. If you are a truck driver and would like hot fresh food. This us not the place for you. Abry has drive thru only you may walk up to the window if you want to take a chance on getting hit.

They don't even have mudflaps.

There is a Marthon north of here. I will be buying my fuel from them from now on. A former loyal customer.

Great place to do your 10 or 34 here. Staffs very friendly, and pretty too LOL. They have clean hot showers too only $5 bucks. Great pizza and cold beers if you taking weekends here.

I stop by here every time I'm headed back home up north, and have been doing so for many years. It's the only truck stop I use when in northern Michigan. The staff is always friendly and the place is always clean. They could teach a lot of places a thing or two about how to accommodate trucks. I will continue to use Charlie's as often as possible.

This place like an oasis in the middle of nowhere for truckers.

Only problem I had was WiFi wouldn’t work but that is minor

I stopped for fuel and shower on the night of 2/14. I pumped 140 gallons of overpriced fuel. Went to and paid asked for a shower. The girl working said none were clean and it would be at least 15 minutes before she could clean. So I used the restroom and got Arbys. Around 15 minutes went her and the other guy never left the fuel desk to even attempt to clean a shower. Sorry excuse of a workforce. The fuel slips says her name is Gabi.
