Morning Ritual Coffee Bar

Stopped in here real quick to give it a try. It’s a very small space and no tables were available so I got mine to go. The spicy mocha latte was unexpected but very tasty. Even my husband who isn’t a coffee fan liked it.

First, it was a challenge to find. Google has you enter thru the parking lot behind their building, & (it's possible I missed it, but) from that side of the building there was no noticeable sign indicating that the building wasn't just an old house or more apartments, so I thought I was lost at first.

Second, not only was there no signage indicating the prices on the large, clear menu posted on the wall were *outdated*, but even with that being the case, the barista taking my order also failed to give me a heads-up that they "had just raised their prices" - I was compelled to ask when I looked down at the card reader & saw a price that was about 50% higher. I changed my order, felt awkward about it bc it was, & left with my coffee.

The minute you start charging a different price, it needs to be made clear on your menus. Doesn't need to be fancy, just needs to be there. That's basic business transparency & etiquette.

Instead of having individual tables downstairs they should have two long tables. There were 6 people taking up the space with their computers and didn't leave any space on the table for anyone to sit across from them so even though the seating appeared to be 12 people it really only allowed for 7 and that only occurred because I tapped on the table and they moved their backpack off the chair facing the window.

Took my 10 year old son on a coffee/hot chocolate date here and we both loved the atmosphere, drinks, and pastries. It was a success! He wants to do it again next Saturday.

This place is great! There are several large tables upstairs suitable for about ten people each. If you have a group looking for a nice place to run a table top game, this is a good spot.

Absolutely love this space. Amazing drinks, great staff, immaculate vibes. They have something for everyone, coffee drinker or not :)

Such a great coffee shop!! Parking is super easy, which is a giant plus 😄 Unique + delicious drinks, there's something for anyone's taste! The Ube matcha was to die for + I can't wait to try the rose quartz latte. Also def looking forward to their future specials!

Great atmosphere and location with ample parking. Super excited to see a cafe in GR serving Intelligentsia! My cortado was served thoughtfully with some dark chocolate and seltzer water, but the drink itself was a bit lacking. Service was friendly and fast and they had my favorite scones from Wealthy/Hall St. Bakeries! Great vegan and GF options as well. Here's the reasons I couldn't give 5 stars: for the comparatively high price I paid for my drink ($3.75), the quality I expected wasn't there. The milk foam on top wasn't consistent in texture (see pics) and the espresso was kind of one-note and watery as opposed to the robust flavor and creamy texture I expect from Italian espresso. A couple drinks intrigue me enough to want to come back (the Fustini's Shrubs and some turmeric drinks), but this isn't somewhere I would go for an espresso seeing as there's so many other places in GR that do espresso better for less. I'd recommend this place more for the atmosphere (great for meetings, studying, dates) and non-coffee offerings. Hopefully the espresso will improve over time seeing as this place is fairly new.

They really did an amazing job with the interior. Very charming little place. Coffee was good and friendly service right around the corner from home. Look forward to many caffeine fixes in the future :)

Tried this coffee place with a friend a week or two ago. I got the muddled mint iced latte (picture) and my friend got some summer berry special drink. She really loved her drink. I didn't really like mine too much, but I also didn't know what to expect for a more raw mint taste. Definitely coming back to try other drinks that I will probably like a lot more. They have some more interesting menu items.
