Great selection and food with friendly staff. Dining area was clean and well-maintained

My wife and I walked through here after eating upstairs as we were going to the gift shop. The food looked and smelled delicious. The area was clean and well organized.

Depending on the time of year, the line for the dining rooms can be long. (Worth it!) If you don't have the time to wait, this cafeteria type spot is located in the lower level and serve their famous chicken. I rated it lower because you will miss out on the charm of the real dining at Zendars. Don't forget to hit the shops.

Quick chicken and sides. Same as upstairs, just more convenient. DO NOT come here if on a diet.

On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it a 2. All items on 5 PC chicken dinner was cold. Mac and cheese was very dry. Not anywhere like it used to be. Be looking for a new dining experience.

We prefer the chicken at Bavarian Inn but you can't beat the price here on the cafe. The exact same food as the upstairs dining but significantly cheaper! 3 piece chicken and 2 sides $11.95 or $1.95 per chicken piece and $3.25 for brat & kraut. Can take it to go and eat across the street overlooking the river! Ample free parking

Love love love the marketplace and I won't leave town without a Hazelwood sandwich!

The Z-cafe is just downstairs. Although it's not the full menu nor table service, many of food options are the same as the full service dining room and every bit as delicious. Sometimes I like it that it's easy and casual l, and certainly more affordable than the full service dining rooms. We like to get the family pack chicken dinner and we always have leftovers, plus I really like the pull-apart parm rolls.

Always love stopping here for lunch. And getting my chicken seasoning.

This is my go to restaurant when I go to Frankenmuth. Good prices and good food. No wait as well.
