The cutest coffee shop! They really know what they’re doing; the smell of freshly roasted beans outside the shop is always so nice. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff as well!

Coffee quality is straight 5 stars. They only had 4 safe flavors to choose from, but kid said they're house made syrups so bonus points for that. You can mix flavors but this isn't the place for 50 different flavors to choose from. I mixed vanilla and brown sugar and really liked it. This is the place for standard safe coffee flavors done exceptionally well. Only constructive feedback would be to expand the menu just a little. Try a Mexican Mocha or something. Try to add two or three seasonal drinks.

Ghost pepper Mocah sounds neat. I didn't see the little sign with seasonal flavors and I'm probably not the only one. Good to see you're taking feedback and fixing things. Next time I'm in I'll make sure to check out the seasonal flavors on your new sign!

The point system for their loyalty program is nice too, you get one point for every 1$ spent, and on Wednesdays 2-7 is double the points! Every 10 points is 1$ off

This place was such a scam, I ordered a $5.30 latte and it was filled to the BRIM WITH ICE. I finished it in 2 sips, I felt so ripped off and I will not be coming here again.

Their Oatmilk Honey Cinnamon Latte was a 10/10. I took a bag of their Ritual blend home and I will never buy another blend from anywhere else again! The owner was on hand and took time to make sure I knew the menu options and detailed their best selling products. Super friendly staff and really great interior/atmosphere. Cant wait to go back!

If you're not near Ferndale or Royal Oak, it used to be really hard to find a good roaster nearby. Glad I found Sabbath! Had a few questions about what would be good for my coffee setup at home and they pointed me in the right direction.

Bought two bags of whole beans today, both roasted a day ago. Amazing. They even let me try the espresso to see what it tastes like, just so I know what I should be aiming for at home. Absolutely delicious. You can tell the pride and passion they take in their products, and I loved how educational they were. Can't wait to go back and get more, try the other beans, and learn some more!

EDIT almost 2 years later (December 2022):

Seeing the growth of Sabbath and what they mean locally, both in the revitalized Clawson downtown and to those close by, has been quite amazing to see. They're doing big things and their coffee has only gotten better. All the way from their sourcing, to their roasting, to their extraction. I'm excited to see what Trevor has in store for them going forward, that team is in great hands.

Coffee was really nice and flavorful. They have a decent selection of pastries as well. The only disappointing thing are the cups and lids are prone to leaking. So be extra careful when moving around with the coffee.

I love this place! They have an outside order window, so you don't have to go inside. They have delicious frozen frappes and vegan donuts that are worth driving out of your way to get. Delicious!
Parking is on the street, but there's always been free spots when I go as no one parks there for very long.
