Keweenaw Coffee Works

Our family loved our visit to Keweenaw Coffee Works! The drinks were amazing, the food delicious, and the setting was beautiful. Our kids enjoyed the special touches by the team, including a barista asking our child if they would like glitter on her drink. Truly a gem in this historic mining town!

A friend recommended this coffee shop to me, so I had to try it! The barista gave me a recommendation based off how I like my coffee, and I got the French toast latte I believe. It was amazing. Thank you to the barista in the grey. This place was super cool! The decor is super interesting too! Thank you KCW. I will be back!

The menu is always spot on for the season, and the staff always remembers us and has suggestions based on our past orders even.

Good vibes. Very nice sitting areas. They have cold brew on tap, which I greatly appreciate. After waiting twenty minutes at a chain place in Houghton and leaving before ordering this place was a sweet relief.

Great relaxing space, comfortable seating and great beverage selection served with a friendly smile. Try the mint hot chocolate with a hand toasted marshmallow!

As a tea lover, this place is awesome. There are tons of options from The Tea Spot. You know how a lot of coffee shops have detailed descriptions that include flavor notes, origin stories, and intricate nuances? This place has this for tea and it’s AMAZING. It was so hard to choose just one, but the staff let me smell the varieties I was most interested in and helped me make a great choice (choco-mint). Plus, when I miscommunicated my order, they were very understanding and made it over for me. So thoughtful!

As for coffee, the roastery smells amazing. My husband had a medium blend drip that was pretty smooth. They have a lot of options geared towards every kind of coffee drinker.

The community space and vibe seems really unique and valuable in a city like Calumet. You can tell these folks really care about the place they live and want to make it warm, inviting, and special to locals and visitors alike. They certainly made us feel right at home and we look forward to coming back someday!

Best coffee in the Keweenaw! I love that you can get milk alternatives without the up charge that most coffee places have. I am local and come here quite often for a latte or quick meal. The food is almost always incredible, and the staff always go above and beyond. It’s the perfect, welcoming environment to go grab a quick bite or stick around for a few hours. Their marketplace always has the cutest gifts (for others or myself!). Prices are a little high, but you absolutely get what you pay for, and it feels good to support KCW and so many local farmers and businesses at the same time.

We had a toastie and crostata here. Both were delicious, and the peanut butter was so good.
Drinks: I got a Rwandan light roast pour over and it was amazing! The lady at the counter went out of her way to help me with some requests - special shout-out to her! The Mexican hot chocolates were spicy and very tasty as well!
